Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.

I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.

Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.

As a fanfiction writer, it’s taken me a long time to come to this realization, and ever since I have, I’ve been so much happier with my views of my work and my self-esteem. The person my fanfiction is written for is ME. When other people enjoy it, that’s wonderful and it makes me happy, but I shouldn’t beat myself up if people don’t. It’s not for them. It’s for me.

the fact that zoro is canonically jealous (and mostly only in situations where luffy is involved) is legitimately such a funny character trait. like what do u mean baby girl is upset when luffy talks about how cool other people are (franky, sanji, shanks) and has hissy fits when luffy has close friends he doesn’t know about (sabo). how upset he was that usopp was luffy’s cornerman (and not him). the man will legitimately work himself in a bad mood over it completely obvious to the special treatment HE gets. “I’ll share my lunch with you”, luffy blushing at the sight of him, always spotting zoro in the distance & saying hi to him first, ‘of course it’s safe w u here’. meanwhile zoro is brooding under his storm cloud bc luffy thought a supersized GIANT w horns was neat
