I really just want friends and family that support me and are as interested in what I have going on as I am for them. That’s really it. At 25 it really hurts to think I don’t. And it definitely hurts even more that I can’t really speak up about it. Cause if I do, I just get invalidated. Or I’m met with silence. An “ok.” A “you’re doing too much” or a subject change. Or here goes the deflection. There’s never a sorry or anything. There’s just always an “I’ll try” and nobody does. And truly I don’t even want a sorry. I just don’t feel like it should be that hard to support and show you care about and be there for people that you claim to care about.

And maybe I am asking for too much. I dunno. But I don’t have to put effort into being there for people and it’s wild to see the people in my life have to try for me. Or not even really try but put effort into the thought of even beginning to. That shit really hurts and it fucks me up sometimes. Nobody has a problem doing the things that upset me or hurt my feelings or anything. They just laugh it off or again, hit with an excuse. And I’m just tired.
