Every person today must think in a new way, for the time of change has come, and everyone is preparing for a new era.

Take the hidden treasures from your heart and give love to one another!

Moments of weakness steal your time—do not wait for miracles, but go where help is needed, where care is needed for those in trouble, in poverty, in disappointment.

You are children of God, and He wants you to love each other as brothers and sisters. You are all one people to God, regardless of race, faith, or nationality.

Your heart beats in unison with the Heart of God, so do not let discouragement, sorrow, or suffering enter your heart. Go toward the light, be light for others. You will fill the world around you with light, and it will shine as God intended when He created this world.

Your time has come, for new wine must be poured into new wineskins. Songs of love and joy should resound everywhere, for now is the time for change in all things, and we must share with everyone around us what is most precious.

We are children of God, loved by our Heavenly Parent, awaited in Heaven in light, so that we may attain perfection during our life on Earth.

Never stop at what you have achieved—move forward despite obstacles. You will see how great changes will take place in your world, where today there is so much pain, sorrow, and a longing to find salvation from various troubles.

Toward the light, toward the light, toward the light all insects and butterflies fly, for God is the center of everything—of light and love.

We give little time to God and more time to ourselves and our problems. But stop, pause, attune your heart to God, for He is within you, in your heart.

He awaits your attention, to share everything He has and everything He has lovingly prepared for you.

Do you believe in love? Do you believe in God? He believes in you, as a true Parent, as the essence of love, living for the good of His children.

For the sake of their children, parents are ready to sacrifice themselves—this is their mission and purpose: to live for their children, who are the most precious object to them.

Listen to your heart every evening. What is there more of—joy or sadness? Faith or disbelief? Pain or anxiety that drives you away from God? A void arises in your heart, and you try to fill it with something.

Do not look for substitutes to fill your heart that thirsts for love. You are made of love, and your heart is easily filled with love when you think of others, not of yourself.

Look at the stars—God created them for you over millions of years. Look at the sea—in it are many different kinds of fish, and over each one God labored with the thought that His children would appreciate His work.

For His children, God created an amazing, colorful, and magical natural world. You are love; God's love flows within you. Your eyes are full of love if you look at the world as God does.

Do you hear the birds singing? Each of them has a unique voice—God created it and imagined how you would listen to the birds and rejoice in their song.

God labored tirelessly for millions of earthly years to prepare a magical world for His children, where His love blossomed and where His finest qualities were manifested in families, society, and nations.

A world of love is God's dream. And what is your dream? Do you simply want to live your life on Earth and not worry about anything global? Or are you inspired by solving difficult tasks, for a world built in the image and likeness of God has still not been established?

How many more centuries will it take for you and your descendants to complete God's work and enjoy peace during your lifetime on Earth? Praise to all peacemakers and to all who shed sweat, tears, and blood for God's world.

We move forward; we do not wait for those who lag behind or hinder our path, for the goal is near, and let those who lag follow the road we have paved.

Desire and faith, courage and daring, bravery before the storm and steadfastness before the tempest—you are capable of all this; you will endure and become victors.

Do not seek easy paths; seek connection with God, and He will show you the best way forward, toward the goal we all wish to reach.

Write down in a prominent place and read every day what you want to achieve today, tomorrow, and the day after. Your conscious and subconscious mind will follow your goals and help you bring them closer to fulfillment.

A Tale of Hak Ja Han (Mother of Wisdom)

In the Land of Morning Freshness (Choson), where ancient mountains rose above the sea and skyscrapers stood alongside pagodas, lived the Korean people — hardworking and proud. But the heart of the country ached. Wealth grew, yet souls withered. Families fell apart, people aged in loneliness before glowing screens, and politicians, like actors in an endless drama, merely changed masks without changing their essence.

And then, in the year of the Blue Snake (Eulsa-nyeon), the unprecedented happened. In the great elections, where dragons of the old guard usually vied for power, an unexpected candidate won. Her name was Hak Ja Han, and she was also called "Mother of Wisdom". She was neither the daughter of an oligarch nor a protégé of party clans. She came from a quiet garden, where for many years she had grown not trees but families — binding hearts together, teaching love not as a feeling but as daily service.

When she stepped into the Blue House (Cheongwadae), the capital held its breath in anticipation. But her first speech was not about the economy or the military.

"I have not come to rule over you," she said, and her voice was soft yet heard in every corner of the country. "I have come to remind you that true power is born in the family. Where mother and father look in the same direction, where a child is taught not only to count and write but also to empathize. From this day forward, our country will grow like a tree — from its roots".

And the Great Changes began.

The first decree was not a decree but an invitation. To every city and village, "Ambassadors of the Hearth" were sent — not officials, but elders, respected parents, and psychologists. They helped not with money but with knowledge: how to listen, how to forgive, how to find common ground between generations. Television channels, instead of endless scandalous shows, began to broadcast "Evening Stories" — simple tales of ordinary families about their small victories. The state began to celebrate not only days of military victory but also the Day of a Child's First Word and the Day of Gratitude to Parents.

The second undertaking was the Bridge of Hearts. Hak Ja Han gathered not security advisors but teachers, poets, and farmers from the north and south. "The wall that divides our Korean people is not made of concrete but of fear and ignorance," she said. "We will begin to break it down not with weapons but with lullabies." Children from the south and north (through neutral countries) were brought together in summer camps called "Shared Heavens." Together they planted ginkgo saplings — trees that live for a thousand years. No one spoke about politics. They simply taught each other songs, molded clay, laughed, and dreamed. And parents, watching this, began to quietly say: "Indeed, we truly are one people".

The third miracle was the Transformation of Wealth. The largest chaebols, which had previously competed in the race for profits, received what seemed at first to be an unprofitable order from the state. Each was to build not a new factory but a Family Campus — a place where workers live not in cramped apartment-cages but in communities with shared gardens, workshops for children, and clubs for the elderly. Did productivity drop? No. It soared, because people began to work not out of fear but out of a sense of common home. Burnout diseases began to recede like mist before the sun.

Of course, there were those who were dissatisfied. "Utopia!" some cried. "She's turning the nation into a kindergarten!" others grumbled. But when they tried to find a corruption scandal around the "Mother of Wisdom," they found only reports of donations to children's institutions. When they tried to accuse her of weakness—the army demonstrated unprecedented cohesion, for soldiers who know why and whom they are protecting become invincible.

Years passed. The Land of Morning Freshness (Choson) came to be called the Land of Morning Smiles by foreign visitors. Not because problems had disappeared, but because a common spirit had emerged — the spirit of family, grown to the size of a nation. Airports were full not only of businessmen but also of large families flying to visit "brothers" through exchange programs in other countries — to Japan, to America, even to Russia — to share not goods but a culture of care.

Han Hak Ja, having completed her term, did not cling to power. She returned to her garden, which was now called Crystal Garden (Cheonwon). Leaders from around the world came there — not for political advice but for simple wisdom: "How do you hear the heart of your people?".

And when asked what the secret of her governance was, she, watering the roses, answered simply:

"Any building will collapse if built on the sand of intrigue and ambition. We simply remembered that the best foundation for a state is warm palms tightly clasped within the circle of family. And when millions of such circles joined together — they became a living, breathing shield and support for the entire country. I did not rule. I simply reminded people of who they truly are".

And the country, having remembered its soul, continued to bloom like a cherry orchard under the spring sun — not for show, but for the joy of life, which, as it turned out, is the greatest state affair of all.

Unity of Religions: How Spiritual Experience Brings People Together

In a world torn by contradictions, where not only political and economic interests clash but also entire worldviews, the question of unity has never been more urgent. We seek answers to the challenges of our time—inequality, poverty, environmental disasters, and endless conflicts. In this search, important beacons may be found not in new technologies or political systems, but in religions—guardians of the mysteries of the human spirit. But how can they help, if they themselves often become sources of discord?

The Invisible Foundation of Faith

To answer this question, we must look into the very essence of the religious phenomenon. Contrary to popular belief, the foundation of any religion is not a dry set of rules or dogmas, but a personal, profound spiritual experience. The founders of great religions, prophets, and saints did not simply invent teachings—they experienced an encounter with an invisible reality. Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree; Moses spoke with God in the burning bush; Muhammad received revelations in the cave of Hira; and Jesus preached, drawing upon his unique experience of communion with the Father.

This personal, mystical experience, as research shows, possesses a remarkable essential uniformity. An hesychast in an Orthodox monastery, a Sufi in an Islamic cloister, and a yogi in an Indian ashram describe similar states of enlightenment and union with the Absolute. This deep commonality of experience, so vividly described by the religious scholar William James (1902), suggests that behind the external diversity of cultures and rituals lies a single spiritual reality to which a person can attune themselves. External differences are merely the language in which different peoples attempt to speak of the inexpressible.

The Parable of the Elephant: How We Perceive the Invisible

Here, the ancient parable of the blind sages and the elephant comes to our aid—a parable that, unfortunately, is often interpreted too simplistically. We are accustomed to thinking that its moral is that each person sees only a part of the truth, and to know the whole, one must put together all the "pieces." This is a Western, rationalistic approach.

However, the deeper, Eastern wisdom of this parable speaks of something else. The elephant in it is not a riddle that can be logically solved by feeling all its parts. It is a metaphor for the Universe, God, or Absolute Truth, which is fundamentally unknowable in its entirety through sensory experience and intellect alone. Each of the sages is right in describing the elephant as a "pillar," a "rope," or a "snake," because each touches reality, yet none can grasp it wholly. And most importantly, their "truths" do not contradict but complement one another, being part of a single whole that cannot be reduced to the sum of its parts. As Jain philosophy teaches, truth is multifaceted. Religions are different paths to the summit of one mountain, and each is real, even though each sees a different slope.

The Unification Church: A Necessary Step Toward Unity

In this context, the teaching of the Unification Church, founded by Reverend Sun Myung Moon (1920–2012) and his wife Hak Ja Han (1943–), offers an interesting and timely perspective. Without claiming to be the final and only correct description of all spiritual laws and the reality of God, it focuses on key practical aspects that can help humanity recognize itself as one family.

The central idea here is the creation of "Blessed Families" with God at the center. This is not merely a marriage ritual (mass wedding ceremony), but a project for building a new culture of love and relationships. The eradication of evil in this world is seen not through violence or doctrinal disputes, but through the establishment of selfless love at the very foundation of society—the family. The ideal of the Kingdom of Heaven in this teaching is not an abstract place beyond the clouds, but a very concrete goal—the building of a world of love and harmony here on earth. It is important to emphasize that, according to this worldview, the Unification Church does not claim to be the final description of spiritual laws and the reality of God, but speaks of important matters that help humanity recognize itself as members of one family of the Heavenly Parent.

This aspiration for practical unification, for the creation of the "Kingdom of Heaven" on earth, where all people are brothers and sisters, is a powerful counterbalance to the forces of division. The Unification Church calls for not fixating on doctrinal differences, but remembering the one Source of life and love.

Time to Unite

Today, in the face of global threats, further division along religious, national, or ideological lines is a path to the abyss. We see how interfaith cooperation is becoming a real tool for solving social problems. In various countries, religious communities are joining forces to provide humanitarian aid, respond to natural disasters, and support those in need.

If all religions, inspired by their profound spiritual experience and realizing that they describe the same "elephant" from different sides, join hands, this will become a force capable of transforming the world. Together, they can bring light and love into all spheres of life:

Eradicate inequality: by helping the poor and destitute, guided by a common principle of mercy.

Overcome conflicts: by drawing on the wisdom and patience embedded in each tradition.

Stop the destruction of nature: by recognizing that the earth is our common home, given to us by our common Creator.

The time has come for a "brotherly dialogue," where religions stop arguing about who is right and begin together to make the world a better place. And in this great endeavor, the teaching of the Unification Church, with its emphasis on the family and building peace throughout the world, offers a very necessary and timely tool. Together, holding hands, we can build that one home where God, as a loving Parent, has a place for each of His children.

Concepts of God the Father and God the Mother in the Unification Church (Unificationism)

In the book Divine Principle — the foundational text of the Unification Church — the concepts of God the Father and God the Mother are structured in a particular way. God (the Source, the Absolute) is not divided into two separate entities but is conceived as a single Person ("Heavenly Parent"), in whom "masculine" and "feminine" principles originally and harmoniously coexist. Let us examine in more detail how this is described.

God the Father

The masculine aspect in the teaching is referred to as yang-seong (in the Korean tradition, this signifies positivity, activity, verticality). God the Father is the Creator, the source of will and active initiative in creation. He strives for His love to find a response.

God the Mother

The feminine aspect is called eum-seong (negativity, passivity, horizontality). It is necessary as a response, as a space for mutuality: without the "maternal" aspect, there can be no full dialogue or co-creation.

Key idea: In God, these two aspects do not oppose each other but exist in harmonious unity. It is precisely from this unity that the plan of creation is born. In the Eastern tradition, the concepts of yang and yin are also well-known as complementary forces.

"Yang is associated with the active, bright, warm, mobile, masculine, and heavenly principle. Yin, on the contrary, symbolizes the passive, dark, cold, soft, feminine, and earthly principle."

How this is revealed in the teaching of the Unification Church

The Purpose of Creation

God created the universe and humanity to embody the ideal of selfless love. The highest expression of this love is the relationship between husband and wife, and between parents and children. Therefore, the teaching emphasizes that it is not so much an individual man or woman who is the image of God, but rather the married couple. The family becomes the model through which God realizes Himself.

The Consequences of the Fall

According to the Divine Principle, the Fall of Adam and Eve destroyed this original ideal. People began to be born from "false," selfish parents, and humanity became dominated by distorted, selfish love and lineage.

The Mission of the "True Parents"

To restore the lost ideal, God sends "True Parents." In the teaching of the Unification Church, these are Sun Myung Moon ("True Father") and his wife Hak Ja Han ("True Mother"). Their mission is to restore the sinless lineage of humanity through the "Blessing" of marriage and to enable people to create "true families" with God at the center.

Thus, the concept in the Divine Principle is very practical: it connects the understanding of God's nature directly with human life and the family.

Divine Principle (Korean: 원리강론) is the key doctrinal text of the Unification Church.

Brief Overview

Authorship and History. The first version of the book appeared in 1951; it was later significantly revised (particularly with the participation of Hyo Won Yu). For followers of the Unification Church, Divine Principle holds a status close to that of a sacred text — it is placed alongside the Bible and the speeches of Reverend Moon.

Essence and Themes. This is a systematic theology that interprets God's purpose of creation, the Fall, and redemption as a long historical process of restoring humanity's relationship with God. The book provides an interpretation of biblical narratives (including the roles of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Noah, Moses, and Jesus) and presents a concept of history as a sequence of attempts ("restoration through indemnity") leading to the establishment of the "Kingdom of Heaven on Earth."

Key Ideas. Among the central tenets are the importance of the family and marriage as the foundation of restoration, the idea that Jesus' mission was not fully completed, and the expectation of the figure of "True Parents" who are to ultimately rectify the consequences of the Fall.
