I pick up a lot of my writing and post formatting style from my fellow RPers and often utilize them in my own posts. I just hope they don’t feel like I’m ripping off them, when in fact I just admire the way they do it.

History

Marli grew up in a little town in Maine. She never thought of the people living in her town as odd, because it was all she knew. As she grew older her birthday wishes would be to travel to special places around the world, to find love, to have more than the people she had ever known, but her parents refused these wished. Glances would always be exchanged whenever she brought up the subject. They would shush her and always put her to bed before she could say anymore. Her “father” was a vampire himself, and he was holding her mother as hostage. He never was her real father for he had killed the man before he could meet his own daughter. Marli never was aware of this fact until the day that she looked into his dark crimson eyes. She had always been the shy type of girls, the one who was naive and overtrusting.

On her eighteenth birthday she went into the city promising her parents that she’d be home later in the day. A twenty year old vampire had found her while she when she stepped out of her car. Purposely he had sliced her tires, making it so that it seemed as though he was the hero when he could give her a ride. With no choice but to say yes, Marli got into his car. Her parents hadn’t answered their phones so to keep her promise she had to go home with the stranger. On the ride she learned that his name was Jason Patterson and he was from the capital of the big apple. He whisked her away using his gift on her. He was a male succubus. She fell in love and ran off with him, but after he got what he wanted from her, he bit her leaving her in the hotel room, a newborn.

Now she resides with Ewan, Lila, and many others in the New York Coven. She is confident, sarcastic and occasionally she is still the naive over trusting girl she once had been.
