No one has mentioned it yet that I’ve personally seen but the little glimpse of Zahra in the S4 finale has simultaneously made me so happy (I adore Zahra) as well as terrified because I am deeply concerned for her after what happened to Kash

Rereading The Whitestone Chronicles comic that focuses on Cassandra (bc let it be known she is one of my favourite characters and is deeply underrated) and I still am SO confused by Percy’s inconsistent amount of siblings in the show compared to the campaign.

Someone might have spoken about this before but regardless I wanted to mention it myself because it’s been bothering me again.

We know that, as of the campaign, Percy has six siblings: Julius, Vesper, Whitney, Ludwig, Oliver, and Cassandra. Yet CONSISTENTLY the show forgets to add Vesper and usually one of the younger boys too.

I noticed this again in S4 E7 of TLOVM:

Like why are we completely missing two siblings here??

Yet Vesper DOES exist in TLOVM, because Percy mentions her name in S1. Her name is also mentioned in the Cassandra comic:

For once, ALL siblings are mentioned there (and this comic does tie directly into TLOVM, not the campaign)

And yet, Vesper is then simultaneously forgotten here:

Where all of Cassandra’s deceased siblings are there… minus Vesper. She DOES exist, but simply is just never present in family photos or any flashbacks or basically anything?? I am deeply confused by this inconsistency and I do wonder if there will be some explanation for it plot-wise in season 5, but with the limited time left, I do doubt it.

I also wonder if it’s going to affect Percy and Vex’s firstborn daughter’s name, as aside from mere mentions, Vesper the first is literally never physically seen or spoken about in the show. (I hope it doesn’t affect that though, because Vesper Elaina de Rolo is very dear to me.)

It’s not a big issue either way, but it is something that’s been on my mind for a while as someone very interested in the entirety of the de Rolo family.

Forgive me for being greedy bc while I DEEPLY ENJOYED SEASON 4 I am really sad with the lack of twin scenes. We got a few!! But I really wish we had at least one other follow-up scene to their discussion during the heist, it felt really cut short to me considering the true depth of their bond.

We did get more Percy+Keyleth, Percy+Vax, Keyleth+Vex scenes and a lot of Perc’ahlia and Vaxleth (which I am very happy about!!) but it felt unnatural to have so little twins scenes when they’re INSEPARABLE in the campaign.

AND alongside the change that they hadn’t seen one another in a whole year??

I fully understand why, as the episodes are so short and there’s not enough time for everything to be shown (compared to the hundreds of hours of the campaign), but I fear the twins are my favourite characters of all time so it was a little upsetting to me.

I do hope we get a lot more of them next season (and more of Vex’s mindset on legitimately dealing with the loss of her other half)!! Regardless, I am still content with what we have and I always have my precious campaign twins to fall back onto <3

I was a little upset that the entire extent of a Bard’s Lament didn’t make it into the show but in compensation we got a Cleric’s Lament (which I’m still reeling from) like behold ASHLEY. FUCKING. JOHNSON.

Pike’s arc this season was so very cruel but so very GOOD

Despite the literal Horrors and Unbearable Pain that season 4 has brought, seeing perc’ahlia’s soft little moments has brought me SO much joy, they’re SO in love

I’m SO so so happy that the recent episodes of S4 have included so many scenes between the platonic relationships of the group, rather than just focusing on the romance aspect (as much as I ADORE perc’ahlia, vaxleth, pikelan)

Like so much Grog and Pike, then we also got some Grog and Percy, Vax and Percy, Vex and Keyleth, Vex and Vax, Percy and Keyleth (my dearly missed platonic soulmates in the campaign) and I’m absolutely living for it!!

Watching Vex’s panic as her entire reality and sense of security falls apart in front of her eyes when Vax’s reveals his condition in E5 is genuinely agonising. The rug completely gets pulled out from under her and the regret of not spending more time with him over the year off hits her like a freight train

The changes from the campaign serve to make it all the more painful and I will NEVER be ready
