I redesigned the Featherhide because I hate The Nine Realms designs so freaking much. I wanna know who was behind the dragons for The Nine Realms because they’re a fucking disappointment. This is technically part of a series even though I’ve only done one other dragon (the Bubblehorn because that thing’s existence is offensive to humanity).
I wanted to try drawing Protector (my WoF oc) in a different style, so I chose the high dragons of Dragon Age: Inquisition. This is an older piece and it was an absolute blast to make, I don’t know if I’ll ever top it.
This is my main WoF OC, Protector. He is a night/sky hybrid who lost his family to Nightwings dedicated to eradicating all hybrids as they’re seen as abominations. While on the run, Protector met a kind and strong headed Rainwing named Hibiscus, who he later marries. By nature, Protector is somewhat shy and broody, not used to trusting other dragons, however he is determined to keep what few loved ones he has (Hibiscus and his son, Courage) safe from any threat no matter the cost. He adores reading, and has a particular love for works written by a strange scavenger called “Shakespeare”.
Some banners I did way back for a game that was in development called Lands of Olul. They haven’t done much as far as development goes lately, which is kinda sad.
Got to just playing around with some ideas one afternoon and made this thing.
A traditional sketch I did a while ago as a break from all of my digital work.
Just a funky little quick sketch of a griffin I did for a friend a while back cause they wanted to see my drawing process.
The current map of Aedrus (subject to change). One version features the main cities and towns, the other shows the main geographical features.
The all-mother, goddess of time and space. She is the one true goddess of Aedrus. She is believed to be the one who started time and sparked the creation of space. She primarily controls the speed of evolution and development for civilizations, this has lead to her being a paragon for knowledge and ideas.
The Howlintingo is a smaller species akin to baboons or lemurs, varying in size from a chicken to a year old child. These creatures are primarily nocturnal and arboreal, and inhabit the densely forested regions of Aedrus. While the mostly prefer to snack on small mammals, fish, and bugs, Howlintigos are known for their tendency to mimic the sounds of larger prey to lure them into an ambush, where a whole pack lies in wait. They are particularly renowned for their proficiency at mimicking human voices, which leads to a high rate of human confrontations with this aggressive species. The tendrils on top of their heads are only present in males. The tendrils are used as a means of attracting mates in the suffocating darkness of night under the forest canopies.
Sjovelen, a seal-like, apex predator that dwells in the southernmost article region of Aedrus. The sjovelen hunts anything smaller than itself, and lives a primarily solitary life on the ice plains of the arctic isles. The predators flock together in large groups to find mates, and split apart again to raise their young and continue their travels alone.
