POV: You’re a Painting! (2026)

Hello!! Long time no see!! Sorry, sometimes I forget I have this app lol! But I come bearing new art so yay!! Anywho, this is one of my many paintings from my Intermediate Painting class! This was a part of an “apprenticeship” with an existing artist! The artist I’m referencing in this piece is Paula Modersohn Becker!! We had to do a study of one their paintings and then make our own composition! (I’ll attach my study and the original below hehe) I had a lot of fun with this! Her style includes a lot of paint layered up thick, almost relief like! She would often scratch into the wet paint with a palette knife! So thats what I did! I primarily used the knife for this and only used a tiny brush for smaller areas! Hope you enjoy!

Yu Nishinoya! (2025)

Noya!! He’s probably the funniest Haikyu!! character, I just love his energy and him and Tanaka’s chaotic friendship is so fun to watch!! Also, I’m wondering how much hair gel this man uses in a weekly basis lol! His hair is just so spiky!

(Either Tanaka or Daichi will be next, gotta decide which one I wanna do first!)

Asahi!! The big softie himself! We can all agree that his season 2/3 hair is the best, right? Okay good 😊. I also had fun drawing scene where he scared Hinata, Noya, and Tanaka hehehehehe.

Kageyama!! His growth and development as a character and as a player was amazing and so fun to watch! His relationship with Hinata was also hilarious, I love their dynamic!

Tsukishima! (2025)

Been binging Haikyu!! and I’ve been absolutely loving it!! The characters are so fun to watch and it’s just an overall good time!! It’s definitely becoming a comfort show. Anyways, I want to draw the characters and we’re starting with my favorite, Tsukki!! He’s low-key such a mood sometimes! (My other favs are Hinata and Yamaguchi so they’re definitely next!)
