We are very excited to announce that our trial run of the beer garden was a SMASHING hit! Thank you to all of our patrons and talented musicians who all individually, and collectively, made this special night even more magical. The night wouldn’t have been the same without your energy!
Thank you, everyone!

Evil Twin “Even More Jesus”
93 A-
Even More Jesus (previously labeled Aún Más a Jesús) is an Imperial Stout. Aromas provide a dense backdrop of dark roasted malts that come across like chocolate fudge and coffee. Noticeable dark fruit character like grape juice. Finer hints of vanilla blend with suggestions of bourbon coming from the alcohol.
The palate begins in a flood of dark chocolate and cherry juice. Sweetness collects in the middle like burnt caramel, accelerating toward sticky molasses. Hops give a bitter kick to sweet chocolate chips. Coffee rounds out the underbelly for a mocha-espresso combination. Rich, fudgy malts grow dense, but kept in check by the thinning properties of high alcohol. As the chocolate washes away, the finish delves into hints of licorice over plum and port wine. Hops resurface in earthy, bitter qualities with a touch of orange zest. Lingering notes reveal a deeper layer of cocoa, smoked oak, vanilla, and a touch of spice. The mouthfeel falls flat on carbonation for a chewy, ultra-smooth texture akin to heavy cream. Oil and sugar coat the mouth, then close in slick alcohol.
You might consider this a dessert beer. Compared to the standard Double Stout, this sticks to the sweet, fruity spectrum. Uncluttered by hops, and highly influenced by alcohol, I find a Russian Imperial vibe. My criticism: I would have liked more depth of roast, and less alcohol on the palate. I suggest finding a friend to share this bomber with, because the ABV could be a bit much for some. I recommend it only to those willing to navigate the darkest of beers.

The Falcon welcomes everyone. There are no tickets, no cover charge and no minimum. We encourage contributions to the careworn donation box, which remains as both a symbol of democracy in the arts and a way for any patron, of any financial strata, to give what they will and what they can, in support of the living artists whose work they have enjoyed. This fund goes directly to our extraordinary performing musicians in the main act, demonstrating our respect and gratitude for their skill, and livelihood.

Community
I have been truly blessed to be welcomed by such a great community of people. Since I have been at The Falcon there has been some truly memorable moments. Last night takes the cake.
Hugh Brodies 81st. birthday celebration. This man is a saxophone legend. True it might not have been his best performance on the saxophone. The real magic in the night was the audience and Hugh's friends. The musicians that played in to the wee hours as a tribute to this man. You can tell how loved and well respected he is.
Beautiful things happen when community gets together.
