I’m a 22-year-old transspecies Catkin (pure black Maine Coon), and I’ve been interacting with the alterhuman community for a few years. I’m also Satyrkin (though that one’s kinda weak), Celestial Fallen Angelkin, Squirrelhearted, and Doghearted. I’m kinsidering if I have a Novakid hearttype too, but I haven’t played Starbound yet so idk I could be wrong on that

I have this pin irl that says "gender: moth" with the trans flag in the background. I just wear it for the sillies (it was a Christmas present from a friend in eighth grade). This one time a lunch lady at my school apparently thought the pin was 100% serious and that I genuinely self identified as a moth and went out of her way to tell me that she thought the pin was great and that she loved and supported that I was a moth and able to be open about it. I am not a moth therian but I hope the pro alterhuman lunch lady at my school wakes up and has the best day of her life every single day and nothing even mildly inconvenient happens to her ever

Do any other trans guys who haven’t been able to start T for one reason or another also feel like they’re caged in a child’s body? Like I know logically that obviously I’m an adult, my body is an adult body, my voice is an adult voice. But there is this persistent feeling that I didn’t ever finish “growing up”, my voice never stopped being a child’s voice, my body feels “underdeveloped”. In the mirror I don’t even see a “woman’s” body - I see what would happen if a 14 yr old had eyebags and wrinkles. If the body could age without ever maturing. I feel like Baby Doll from Batman the Animated Series.

avian culture is i love my wings. my beautiful wings they keep me warm and safe and they spread out behind me in the wind, i can feel my feathers ruffle, they yearn to catch the wind but they are gone i can't reach them and they can't reach the wind so i can't reach the sky and i will never reach the sky. and i will never reach the sky and i see the other birds outside my window and they can reach it so why can't i and it's not fair. it is not fair but my big heavy wings wrap around me anyway and i am warm and safe even when i am stuck down here, and my wings can spread out in the breeze and my feathers can ruffle and i will be fine. i will be okay and eventually i will touch the sky
