Who wants a plot bunny?

Final part of Mirrored Gold’s epilogue is fighting me and life be life-ing. So let’s get creative. Send me a Storm Hawks character name, a genre, a theme and three other words, then I’ll make up a plot bunny. We do not AI in this household, all plot bunnies are organic and free range.

Example: Dark Ace, sci-fi, hurt/comfort, yellow, cicada's and umbrella. Plot bunny- Dark Ace is the first to reach a recently crashed meteorite, Cyclonis had been adamant the ‘fallen star’ could hold crystals of unfathomable power so securing it was the highest priority. On closer inspection it’s revealed the meteorite is teeming with slumbering bug-like alien creatures that are starting to stir. A Talon attempting to mine samples accidentally hits an alien causing acidic yellow blood to gush out, dangerously injuring anyone unfortunate enough to be nearby. Cue Dark Ace/his underlings hastily constructing an acid-proof umbrella to try and protect himself/his underlings as they try to escape the alien structure.

I actually recommend everyone write for a rarepair once because it completely changes your relationship with fandom. Engagement stops being numbers and starts being names. You know who's going to show up. You recognize usernames. Someone disappears for a while and then comes back and you're like “OH MY GOD WELCOME HOME.” It's incredibly wholesome. I’m not sure if this will be helpful to anyone, but you literally do not have to be a good writer to write and post fan fiction. Yes you will naturally get better at writing and finding your voice the more you do it but you do not have to be or become a professional level writer to enjoy writing and sharing fics. It’s common to hear people praise fic writers by saying their work is better than published books, and while I think this comes from a good place, that’s not the norm or expectation. There is also a sentiment that fic writing is “good practice” for becoming a better writer or doing something else later, but if fic is the only creative writing you ever do that is literally okay. Your technical skill does not mean you cannot have fun and build community with your writing, or that other people cannot love and find meaning in your work.
