Alright, here's what happened. We were not able to get into our new apartment until the day before we moved, which meant that we weren't able to set up our tank until the day before we moved. We also had to get out of our old apartment in that one day, so there was no time to let the tank cycle. A few of them held on for a while, but it was clear that they weren't going to make it.

At the end of the year we will be moving again to hopefully a semi-permanent place, and the tank will be set up again, if anyone wants to keep following us for that long. : P

I got a ball python for my birthday, so I can post pics of her if anyone is interested lol

We haven't been posting much lately and we apologize for that. We're gonna be moving soon, and it'll take a while to get the tank moved and set up again. So for now, we're officially going on a hiatus for a little while. :P

William the guppy had a zillion babies

Bilbo the balloon randomly had babies last night out in the tank. We put him in the net with William to give him a rest, since Thorin (the biggest silver one) and all the other males were very insistently trying to 'court' him since he isn't full of babies anymore.

Thorin has been circling Bilbo the whole day, chasing away all the other males since Bilbo obviously belongs to him. The babies are probably Thorin's too

Krynn the blue Mickey mouse platy really likes Desmond the gold panda molly… It is possible for them to cross-breed , I think. That’s Bombur in the corner and our new little William guppy at the bottom.

The little black one is Arwen, and she's pregnant already. :| The little yellow and black one is Desmond, who is also pregnant already.

We decided to make our small tank into a planted one for now with no fish. We might use it for sick fish or get a betta or something eventually. For now it just gets to be Mirkwood.

The state of Middle Earth

A terrible plague rolled across the lands, stretching from Erebor to Hobbiton. The water turned cloudy and all feared the worst. Smaug ventured forth from Rivendell, but was slain by the plague. The gods intervened to battle the plague and vanquished it, but not before Rivendell fell, as well as Bifur in the struggle. The rest were saved, and a new age dawned, with new friends able to journey to Middle Earth now that Smaug is gone.

Thranduil, Bombur, and Bifur are all also pregnant. Or, at least we think Bombur is pregnant...

Fili and Kili are pregnant again and no one is surprised.

We Return!

We are back at our apartment, and it turns out only two fish died, one barb and one balloon molly. Better than all of them. :P 

And Smaug our dragonfish is just fine too. We were most worried about him. :D

Vacation~

So Vader and I are going on vacation and leaving our precious little Fandom Fishies in their tanks for a WHOLE WEEK.

AHHH.

We've been experimenting for the past two weeks, trying to make sure they'll be all good before we leave. So, here's to hoping none of them decide to

A) Eat each other

B) Have babies

C) All die at the same time

Last night Kili had about 20 babies and this morning they are all gone. Kili and Fili ate them all ahahahahahaha.

Thranduil had more babies. Only 15 this time. And I remembered to take a pic before we fed them to the barbs! Samwise is that little balloon, who is pregs lol.
