Hello everyone! I wanted to share some links, please reblog :)

My blog FandomGeekLife on Wordpress I do game reviews, blog posts about life (mental health and stuff), fandom stuff, starting book and stationery reviews. I'll also start talking about the book I'm writing here as well! Currently nothing has been shared about the book but I have a teaser idea coming up! I'll try to remember to share updates for my blog to tumblr, whoops. My Ko-fi Thinking of doing poetry commissions, stuff for the book I'm writing, etc! I'm going to put this out there before asking Neil again

Guy gets so many questions a day, I would have noped out with that number and been very thankful as well like he is. My anxiety would have won though haha So does anyone know:

What is the significance of diners in his works? Good Omens has one, American Gods, and Sandman have them (I bet others do too, these are the ones I can think of. I am very tired, apologies). Did he get inspiration in one for a story? Is it because it is a good wayward point in the universe? Almost like a crossroads?

If none of that makes sense, again I apologize. I am very tired. The 24hr Diner in Sandman was traumatizing though and the one with the cereal killers trying to get corinthians attention

God I just love Rhys and Taika so much. This is literally one of the most genuine and wonderful relationships I've ever seen and I think it's only thanks to them and their actual friendship that it has this sort of magic that triggers such deep feelings in us. They're an absolute blessing

the thing about tumblr is that it's always had rss feeds, so it's always been possible to follow someone without actually having a tumblr account (even after they started adding login walls). if you are looking for new places to post, please consider whether it's possible for people to follow and view your posts there without having an account. i love you guys but there are artists whose work i haven't seen in years because i'm not making a ZuckMuskDotOrg account just to see what they're up to.

wait tumblr has rss feeds? how do I find those? I can just follow people directly from mastodon with those

this is also why it's not actually possible to use RSS as a functional tag on tumblr
