I love the reactions of Asgardians in Ragnarok after they find out it's Loki pretending to be Odin. They didn't seem surprised as Loki was the son of the king, so him being the king of Asgard is not something odd. Also when Loki came back to rescue them, he asked them if they missed him or not with a smile. The average Asgardians obviously respected him as the prince. It's just those stupid friends of Thor who somehow got the audacity to mock Loki.
Here's the thing, I don't think the rest Asgard cared that much Odin was replaced by Loki. People where initially shocked, but no one seemed scared or upset. The guards reacted more to Thor threatening Loki then when Loke revealed himself as an imposter.
Loki invested in the arts and what orders he did do off the top of my head were
Pardoning the warriors and Sif for treason helping Thor out
Letting Thor have a life on Earth (after saying he was proud of him while pretending to be Odin)
Sent Sif to help deal with Asgardian and alien threats to Earth
Separate the Infinity Stones that were in Asgards possession by moving the Aether to the Collector instead of putting it in a vault with the Tesseract like an idiot Odin would do
Bring Asgardian forces back to Asgard, wearing the defenses of other Realms but bringing soldiers home indefinitely and upping Asgards defenses (Asgardians had to like that, everyone else less so)
Honestly Loki was doing great in the short time he had and only had the let down for the other Realms of taking away their protective force, but Asgard itself had to have loved having their friends and family back, the new productions, and whatever rebuilding efforts Loki focused on in the aftermath of the Dark Elf attack to infrastructure. Even cleaned up his own personal messes, including the ones to the detriment of earth, since the Asgardians that escaped were from the prison break and they left through the weakpoints he apparently pointed out for realm travel. (I think, I may be misremembering or making up a line about the realm travel being bc of his knowledge?? Idk man)
Yeah but that's just the beginning. I also want Sanitation Worker Discounts at every business and blockbuster movie propaganda glorifying sanitation work. I want random people to salute garbage collectors and thank them for their service. I want drivers who get impatient with the recycling truck and honk at it and swerve around it to become social pariahs

probably more proxies to come eventually but 🤷♀️ its basically just ur typical slendermansion au thing but just with redesigns and some personality changes
basic premise is that all of the proxies (and other general creepypastas) live in this ever-expanding forest that has a supernatural fog always covering it….anddd has strange abilities!! like bringing inanimate objects to life. next to this anomalous forest is a town (with a name I haven’t figured out yet) where most of the human proxies came from, like Jeff and Toby.
Slenderman’s manor consists of most of the more popular proxies (aka the ones drawn here) while others (hoodie and masky, for example) live in their own separate cabin somewhere in or outside of the fog— or just live in the forest aimlessly (the rake, smile dog, ect).

JEFFERY WOODS: regular ol Jeffery Woods..,.he had a Feeling (tm) and now lives with Slenderman as his sort of adopted son. one of the first few proxies to be chosen, and is very close with slender (even if he doesn’t want to admit it). just a greasy, slimy guy.
THE OBSERVER: though he has no eyes, is very observant, and surprisingly cautious and responsible. even he doesn’t have full control of everything. overworked father figure and he constantly has migraines. #dadoftheyear (also he’s divorced…to zalgo)
EYELESS JACK: More of a creature rather than a guy, eyeless is a loyal proxy who really sticks around because of the free food and rooms. he’s close with LJ, even though the clown makes him want to shake him around like a rag doll
BEN DROWNED: little shit who invades everyone’s technology all throughout the manor. he’s very specific about his things and doesn’t liked them being touched. think lemongrab from adventure time and jeff from clarence.
JANE DOE (or Jane the killer, my own take): think Nina if she was the complete opposite of a fan girl. instead of loving Jeff, she thinks he’s a total loser and believes she can do his job better. she’s quiet and likes her personal space/alone time. probably has a collection of different weapons but I thought a hatchet would be cool. also yes she’s black here what about it
NINA THE KILLER: heard about jeff’s crimes in a news article and became obsessed with him. she became a copycat killer, found the fog, and stayed there ever since…as her life before wasn’t too eventful anyway. she’s chipper and quite positive, even if it makes her come off as naive.
LJ: an imaginary friend who was inspired by a real sock monkey by a child…but as that child grew up, they lost interest in such a thing and threw it away to a thrift store. LJ jumped from various homes before finally being abandoned in the fog. he’s extremely clingy and honestly a little absentminded, but he WILL make you laugh if it’s the last thing he’ll do. I love you LJ (his name isn’t actually laughing jack…..but he will never tell what the initials actually mean. I don’t think he remembers). also he’s kind of in love with eyeless
SALLY WILLIAMS: after her death, sally’s body was hidden in this foggy forest, her ghost latching onto the first sign of life (the manor). she’s still a very cheerful girl who loves to hoard dolls and plushies as a result. she hangs out predominantly with Jane and Nina, and LJ in the occasion because of his doll collection. Slender is basically her dad.
Watching older people struggle to use the McDonald’s kiosk genuinely makes me sad. It’s ever increasingly clear that technology literacy courses provided on a state level as a public service are necessary to assist people with the rapidly changing technology landscape. Society changes fast and rather than abandoning people to individualized solutions we need a socialized response to helping people adjust.
Last year, I befriended a Catholic seminarian. We've gotten to be pretty decent friends. Seeing as he was staying in town for the summer and I wasn't, I entrusted him with caring for my plant.
He did a wonderful job, but as he was returning my plant to my custody, he explained "I watered her every other day, I gave her new dirt, moved her into the sunshine, prayed the rosary-"
"What?"
He looked at me, confused. "Isn't she a plant you pray with?"
"No," I said slowly. "She's a prayer plant. That's the... colloquial name of the plant."
Upon seeing his stricken face, I realized something went wrong. Turns out, this entire time, he's been including my plant in on his prayers and leaving her near icons.
Listen, totally cool. My plant becoming Catholic is a great deal for her not dying over the summer. But now I must navigate this interfaith household. Keep me in your thoughts.
