There is a hidden glow in every human being that appears only with certain people, at certain times and in certain places.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
"The things that destroy (a person) are three:
•Miserliness that is obeyed.
•Desires that are followed.
•Self admiration."
[Narrated by Al-Bazzār/Declared Hasan by Shaykh Al-Albānī
The prophet of Allāh ﷺ said:
“Feel shy before Allāh just as you would feel shy before a member of your family.”
[aṣ-ṣaḥīḥah, 3559]

Al-Imām ibn ul-Jawzi [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him] said:
“Look at the condition in which you are in, if it is suitable for death and suitable for the grave, then continue upon such condition. If it is not suitable for the two, then repent to Allāh from therein, and return to what is correct.”
Bustān al-Wā‘idheen, 1/192 | Al-Imām ibn ul-Jawzi [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him]

Wisdom behind saying Takbeer During the 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah
From Abu Huraira from the Prophet: ﷺ:
‘A person does not ever make Talbeeyah [for those on Hajj] except that he is given glad tidings, nor does a person ever say Takbeer [Allaahu Akbar] except that he is given glad tidings.’
It was asked: ‘With Paradise?’
He answered: ‘Yes.’
[Collected by Tabarani & Al-Albaani said its Isnad is Hasan in Silsilah as-Saheehah no. 1621]
Al-Khatabi -Rahimahullaah- said:
‘The wisdom behind saying Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar) in these ten days of Dhul Hijjah is that in the time of Jahileeyah they used to slaughter for their false gods in those ten days.
So, saying Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar) in the ten days of Dhul Hijjah was legislated has an indication to specifically slaughtering for Allaah and upon His Name -The Magnificent and the Majestic.’
[Fath al-Bari 2/535]

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
“I have not seen anything that feeds the mind and soul, and protects the body, and ensures happiness more, than consistently looking through the book of Allāh.”
[Al Fatawaa, 7/493]
“Whoever truly trusts Allāh in attaining something, he attains it.”
(Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله, Madarij as-Saalikeen 2/114)
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymîn رحمه الله said:
"Happiness in marriage never comes through being harsh or using force. That is without a doubt completely wrong. The husband should see his wife as his close friend, the mother of his child and the one responsible for taking care of the home. He should respect his wife as he wants her to respect him."
[Fatāwā Nur ala-Darb (10/13)]
Al-Ansari said:
“The woman is the key to the security in every society and the foundation of the family.”
[al-Majmu’, (1/173)]
Righteous wife
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
A righteous wife will be with her righteous husband for many years, She may offer the love and compassion that Allaah speaks of in His Book, and the pain of separation may be harder for her than death in some cases, and harder than losing wealth or leaving one’s homeland, especially if one of them is fond of the other or they have children together who will be harmed by separation.
