I don't normally wear shirts with words on them, but this goes beyond fashion and trends. If you still don't know what feminism is all about, ask someone who does, Google it, borrow books (start with bell hooks)- take advantage of all your possible resources. For some, it's the fight for reproductive health, the fight against sexual assault and rape culture, or for others, it's the fight for transgender rights. Some say we don't need feminism in the West because the Eastern part of the world deals with harsher issues. Yes, we must make ourselves aware and speak up against child marriages in Bangladesh and recognize that women in Saudi Arabia recently earned their right to VOTE. Oppression isn't a competition. With so many stands to take, feminism is no longer a "radical notion." It's not radical to want rights and justice for multiple groups who suffer from patriarchal systems. And it ain't feminism if it ain't intersectional ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻
