I'm still seeing a few donation posts going around for sheikh jarrah, I know people are trying to help and everyone has good intentions, but these donation campaigns are not endorsed by them!! there's a lot people trying to take advantage of the situation and they're stealing money. instead, palestinians are asking for you to place political pressure, protest, boycott, divest, and share what's happening.

however, gaza needs donations for medical, financial, and food aid. below I've linked some trusted organisations:

PCRF (palestine children's relief fund) is an organisation that provides free medical care to children in palestine: urgent gaza relief fund

UPA (united palestinian appeal) is also directly based in palestine and provides emergency relief in gaza

Note that it’s informally worded and written as though the person is speaking Directly to you (’like dude’ ‘i pinky promise that you’) and not just that but it’s incredibly infantilizing as well (’lil noggin’s notes app’ jesus christ lmfao) 

Hearing unprompted/out of the blue that nobody has access to your thoughts when directed towards schizospec people may actually put the idea in your head in the first place, thus raising alarm 

I need non-psychotic people to understand that the schizospec mind often relates to things as possibilities, not as things that are actually happening, and so it frequently goes into panic mode believing that the possibility is more likely than we think and forces us to prepare for the event as though it was inevitable (if you’ve seen that post that talks about ‘gacha players when they learn the rate of being hit by lightning’ you’d understand what I mean)

At that, psychotic minds are often predisposed to treating coincidences as signs, especially repeated coincidences (i.e. seeing repeating numbers or repeated phrases or patterns, ‘coincidentally i saw this thing so it must be a sign’ etc.) 

I think in general it’s a good idea to not post or spread unprompted reality checks because of the alarm it may cause in psychotic people

345k+ new cases of covid today in india!! in a single day!! twitter and instagram are our healthcare system rn!! we're short on icu beds, oxygen cylinders, covid vaccines and drugs!! we have no slots in cremation grounds to respectfully do the last rites needed for our dead!! patients are dying outside hospitals because there are!! no!! beds!! patients are dying inside ambulances!! and the states that are claiming to have enough resources rn are on their way to have a shortage of the same!! healthcare workers are being stretched thin!! we're all facing an acute mental health crisis rn!! meanwhile our central govt is doing too little too late!! after spending months doing election rallies and giving a green light to religious festivals (with millions of attendees) up until last week, they've finally decided to wake up and start paying attention to the covid crisis and it!! is!! not!! enough!!
