Doing the weight loss thing again so that's cool
I'm really liking the advice from the Dr Mike (RP) youtube channel. Bodybuilders probably know a thing or two about body composition change
In case you were wondering how maintenance went
Truly, I expected there to be ups and downs and I am pretty happy with this. My body weight fluctuates up to 3 pounds over the course of the day so a range of 5 pounds I am laughing - high 199 and low 194
This is 195 (ft my dusty mirror)
5'8" - I carry my weight pretty evenly all over my body
Starting deficit phase 2; after a cycle of 2 months weight loss and 2 months maintenance successfully completed
Not a cute photo(of my back) but I've started kickboxing! It's a crazy high intense cardio hit, I really like it :) Our local club has a great female head coach. Diet is such a huge part of weight loss but doing something hard that gives you that endorphin high at the end? It reminds how movement can be and joy and really why it is all worth it :)
Another great way to see your progression as well - my kicks are so much higher now!
CW: 196lbs
Goal 1 weight: 180
Would like to sit here on maintenance for ~ 6 months
Goal 2 weight: 160

What today looks like
“When the Fat Girl Gets Skinny”
Will forever reblog this, means a lot <3
"when I was a child 'fat' was the first word people used to describe me, which didn't offend me, until I realized it was supposed to"
That hit home
This is the meme content I like to see
let me tell u something chefs love memes about how a kitchen works and this one caused my entire kitchen to riot and my head chef sent it to all the area chefs in the company
If you’ve got a body, you’ve got a gym body.
This not ideal
Has it really been 4 years since I first started this account?
2 years since I last really logged in here?
Well I’m now 26. I’ve moved out of my parents place in a one bedroom apartment and got a real joby job. I’ve been to Korea and Japan twice to see kpop concerts. I hiked Zion and Bryce and the Grand Canyon.
Now it’s time to start the fitness journey again.
I feel like I still have the tools from last time. I still know what I need to do. But gosh if that first bit to actually get up and do it isn’t so completely difficult.
This time, it’s time management that is my problem. Whenever I get back from work I’m mentally exhausted and I never want to do anything physical. And I live literally next to a gym.
It worked for me last time. To do this with an audience, a group of people. So here’s hoping I can do it again.
Starting weight: 204
Starting BMI 36%
Hey everyone, sorry for ignoring Tumblr for forever, life’s been busy.
Please stop making comments about people’s eating habits
If they ate a lot, don’t say anything.
If they barely ate, don’t say anything.
If they ate too fast or too slow or ate only vegetables or only cake, just seriously, don’t say anything.
Some people experience a lot of anxiety when it comes to eating around others and comments like these, whether spoken with good intention or not, can make people incredibly uncomfortable.
Saying something like, “oh you must be hungry” seems innocent, but someone struggling with disordered eating or anxiety around food can take that to mean that they’re eating too much. And this can trigger radical shifts in their eating patterns, as well as general feelings of shame, being judged, being watched, failing at not eating, etc etc etc.
Just something that I think is important to remember. Xoxo
