I actually have come around to the series being called Knives Out instead of named for Benoit in any way. Because Benoit isn't truly what ties it together, it's the consistent social commentary themes. And do you remember why it's called Knives Out?

when i tell you my all comfort movies are murder mysteries from the same series i’m not even lying! the third installment of knives out recently got released on netflix ( wake up dead man ) and it might be my favourite one so far.. i’m also very much in love with josh o’connor <3

stray kids ⟢ late night studio sessions, sneakers scuffing against the floor, falling asleep sitting up, shared dorm spaces, laughter bouncing off mirrors, walking back from practice together, comfort in noise, belonging that didn’t come from blood, the word and feeling of “home.”

𝑖. you know me better than i know myself. i understand how surface level that sounds, but i mean it with every inch of my soul. whenever i struggle to express myself, you somehow know what i'm trying to say, without me fully knowing what i mean.
𝑖𝑖. the way you talk about the things and people you love makes even a cold–hearted bitch like me emotional. the nights we stayed up late talking about our drs and you expressed your admiration for your members with such passion, made me realise how much you feel.
𝑖𝑖𝑖. you are one of the most intelligent people i know, and i don't just mean books. you talk about things so eloquently, you constantly sound confident in the things you say, something i wish i could do. your understanding of emotions, yourself, the world, it's incredibly impressive.
𝑖𝑣. the way you show you care is so different, yet so meaningful. waking up to an imessage notification, expecting a normal text, only to be greeted by a concerningly well edited scroll with old–timey english on it, just to ask if i wanted to call since you knew i wasn't feeling great.
𝑣. one thing that never fails to impress me is how you're good at everything you try, and that isn't an exaggeration. you mastered graphic design, you're somehow becoming one of the best editors i know, i'm afraid of what's next, genuinely. you always claim to be lazy but you're maybe the most motivated person i know.

i know this isn't much, it's actually hardly anything really, but i hope you enjoy reading about how i see you from my perspective. i still haven't fully taken in that you're twenty now, maybe that's because you're still seventeen in my mind, or maybe i just don't like the thought of us growing up, but it's happening whether i want it to or not. i love you more than anything else and i wish you the happiest of birthdays, i hope twenty treats you better than nineteen did.
the urge to script my discography is made up of songs originally by artists here but the other urge to not script my discography but rather script i’m the best songwriter, composer, and producer of my time just to see what i come up with… 🤔🤔
