Mary learnt how to cry on command and starts crying whenever Remus is around and she wants chocolate. Poor Remus is so bad at comforting people he just gives her chocolate until she stops crying.

Thinking about little Remus the first time werewolves are mentioned in defence against the dark arts. His shoulders are too small to fit his robes and his hands shake and his feet can’t even touch the ground as he writes about all the ways he’s a monster.

sirius loves giving remus forehead kisses because he learnt physical affection from effie, and she always gives them to him

Remus stared through the darkness of his fingers, his hand draped over his eyes to block out the sun. The light was hot against his tanned skin as he laid in the field.

Soon, he tilted his head to face Sirius. His black haired friend sat with his arms resting over his knees, his loose tie hanging from his unbuttoned shirt. He gazed into the sky.

A gentle breeze travelled through the grass, making ripples across the fabric of Remus’ trousers and pushing his white shirt against his skin.

“Remus,” Sirius spoke after a moment, breaking the silence that surrounded them.

“Sirius.”

“You know how James has Lily, but who do we have?” He continued, looking down to his friend with a curious expression.

Remus raised an eyebrow as he looked over, “I suppose we have each other.”

“True, but we aren’t… together like they are,” Sirius spoke with a small huff, picking at the grass between his legs.

Slowly, he looked away from his friend. For a moment, he wasn’t sure how to respond.

“But you mess around a lot with others.”

“That isn’t the same.”

Remus let out a small hum, thoughtfully tapping a finger on the ground. Sirius remained silent before turning to face him, grinning so bright his white canine teeth were showing.

“Remus, if neither of us are married by the time we’re thirty, we should marry each other.”

He was immediately taken aback by the offer, and a little flustered. But Remus considered his words before finally giving a nod of agreement.

“I like that idea.”
