that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.
everyone on replies is terrified of this fact but i just think it's so sweet and heartwarming. she's holding our hand and leading us somewhere secret and we're both giggling like kids. i love her
When I was younger everyone cared about Talk Like a Pirate Day. Every September 19th it'd be yars and shivers me timber all the way down, and people took delight in it. Now nobody ever talks like a pirate, on that day or any other. So few of us cling to the old ways. This is where our society went wrong. Talk Like A Pirate Day was the pioneer of Silly Meme Holidays, the standard-bearer for many years. But now, in a fast world of Ides of March, MAR10s, and Pi Days, nobody stops to talk like a pirate anymore.
But we can change this. This September 19th, stop being a scurvy landlubber and "walk the plank" of fun! Set a reminder now, possibly on a clock you put inside a crocodile, to save the struggling pirate ecoysystem, yarr. We lost the ninjas. Last night, July 27th 2025, a plushie of Inspekta from Great God Grove was spotted at an MCR show. Not just spotted though, actively held up by Gerard Way during the final song of set, Kids From Yesterday.
I am not an MCR fan. I am, however, a GGG fan. So naturally, when I heard from this tweet:
that apparently Gerard Way themself brought it on stage, I knew I had to verify.
Here's what I, with help from @toffeeandtatertots, were able to find.
Gerard Way WAS NOT holding Inspekta when the plushie was brought on stage. They did, however, seemingly direct someone else to place Inspekta for him.
I scanned as much footage as I could find, primarily from the YouTube channel Crashlove77x and the full show recording by Rholedz.
This unofficial setlist on Instagram was also extremely helpful for figuring out the timeline of events.
See, all the clips of Inspekta are from Kids From Yesterday, which is the final song of the show from what I can tell. In any video taken from the front side of the stage, though, you can usually make out Inspekta sitting in front of the drum set during the second half of the show.

I was also able to find the moment Inspekta was actually brought on stage, after the intermission.

You can pretty clearly see Gerard Way direct someone to place something in front of the drum set, which I'm pretty sure has to have been Inspekta.
When I mentioned on twitter that Gerard Way directed someone to place the plushie, the user who started my whole search replied with this:
In conclusion, yeah that's definitely Gerard Way's plushie. Or at least the plushie of someone they know. What The Fuck.
Also please look at the footage for Kids From Yesterday because it's hilarious. Like seriously it looks like he grabbed the plushie on a whim.
