I am once again begging people to realize that AI checker doesn’t work. it’s never worked. it’s notoriously known to have flagged human-made works as AI and AI-generated works as human-made. and by feeding it people’s works, you are feeding more works to AI, because apparently the machine itself is AI.
the only thing AI checker does is harm genuine artists and people in general too.
hey, hey, don’t cry. seals are recolonizing the tidal zone of the Thames River in London, okay?
Yessssssssssss, London seals! 😍
There’s an interactive map where you can post your sightings and I’m also very pleased by the one reported harbour porpoise sighting around the O2 arena area.

Witness description of the suspect…
some days are really hard and it can be difficult to understand why. but usually its probably because my blood is haunted
eating would be fine if it was only a recreational activity. instead, its a horrible sisiphean nightmare and you need to do it every day without fail on threat of pain and death
if sex work was legal the workers could unionize
I am fully serious about this btw. not "pro sex work" as in "there are no issues whatsoever within the industry", but "pro sex work" as in "these are jobs and the workers should be a) allowed to work and b) protected from their customers by the law"
people responding to this with stuff like "but that would just put sex workers in the same exploited position as uber drivers, cleaners, migrant workers, etc" and yes! good point! reform all of it! keep going!
i grew up in a family of left leaning hippies (thank god) but i can't stop thinking about the one holiday dinner party where my teenage cousin said something about immigrant hotels and needing to stop the boats and there was like. a pause at the table until our grandpa, a very mild mannered man, just went "now where the fuck did you hear that?" Incredible aura. ive never heard that man swear before or since but man did he pick a perfect time for it.
I was at an ex's holiday gathering when one of his siblings said something about "all of the immigrants ruining the kids' schools" and their dad, the Sicilian patriarch of the family said "Like the immigrant you're planning on inheriting money from?" and I have never giddily sat through a more awkward silence.
I'm sick of watching our police kill people with impunity man.
I can't believe we're already coming up on the sixth anniversary of Geroge Floyd's murder and the months of nationwide protests that sparked and policing has only gotten worse. Like let it not be underscored that even if Kamala won she also vowed to be just as 'tough on immigration'. The normalization of this violence is crazy. A better world is possible if we fundamentally reframe our concept of justice and public safety. Is a country that treats immigrants like vermin and parasites safer? Is a country that shoots unarmed citizens just?? It doesn't have to be like this.
Misogynists love to point out that women are the ones who file for divorce 70% of the time and paint this as proof that women are flighty and disloyal when in all actuality it is because straight dudes are too lazy and selfish to do it. They’d rather be miserable and live in a domestic double hostage situation for the rest of their life than possibly have to sell their boat in the divorce and wash their own underwear in their divorced dad apartment.
Like, dude, you are not ‘committed to making the marriage work’, if you were committed to making the marriage work, you would treat your wife with basic respect and try to be a good partner.
Tbh, a decent chunk of men like my father are more committed to the appearance of a complete family than the creation/maintenance of a happy one. It matters more that they have a wife and kids and a house to show off and display.
Yep, it is reallyyy weird how they will come online and try to frame them dragging their feet on divorce as ‘good for the kids’ and their wife refusing to keep tolerating their bullshit and filing as ‘destroying their happy home’, when in all likelihood the home is only happy for him. From the whiny way you’re writing this post and the heinously disrespectful attitude you have toward your wife, I’m sure your children will be happier with two Christmases than they are trapped in the house with you and witnessing your behavior.
we seriously need to have a conversation about how evil, slow, and lifeless january is
doing things at the right age is literally a made up concept. you can start/pursue anything at any age. btw.
remember remember
some of you have GOT to get comfortable with lying and situational morality and i'm not kidding
If you mess up a social interaction you can say "Failed Experiment" and move on
Cannot stress enough that you say this in your head
