Random body part: *decides to feel like it's vibrating*
Me: shut up nobody's texting you you're a foot
.
doctor: so have you noticed any side effects?
me: you’re assuming that i DONT spend every waking minute actively ignoring everything to do with my fucky body
Tummy: Eating was a Mistake
Me: But you were hungry???
Tummy: No I wasn't, that was me testing you.
Me: ????
Tummy: You failed.
I don’t think people realize how much strength it takes to pull your own self out of an anxiety attack or a panic attack. So if you’ve done that today or any day, I’m proud of you.
It is some of the hardest battles I have ever faced. Your brain keeps attacking you as you are trying to come up for air. Hugs to all who may have an attack today.
you ever have that feeling where you’re lying down but you wish you could be lying down more
my back: too much walk!!!!
my back: too much sit!!!!
my back: !!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: can I sleep??
Body: only if it’s at a time that’s inconvenient :)
chronic illness skills:
-really good at getting blood drawn -sleeping -tv marathoning -doing everything in pain -know the best heating pads -will sit on the floor if there are no chairs -smarter than doctors sometimes tbh
a small thing I did today
Me: I'm doing too much. I need to rest and take care of my body.
Also Me: I'm not doing enough. I need to get more stuff done.
I have this struggle DAILY
this user has fibromylagia
When I first got sick and had no idea how to do any of the things...
Off pain meds
After a few year of low does of Norco for my fibromyalgia and poly arthritis, I have beem off it for almost two weeks!
It wasn't easy and I am still in pain but it started making my depression and anxiety so bad it wasn't worth it anymore.
Lies I tell myself before a procedure…
