it's the acting for me
Mix AND Dean (yes I know they're the same person) were brilliant in this moment. Dean is on the verge of breaking, completely lost in his own shattered relationship, the fact that Jack is hellbent of trying to push him away, trying to *replace* him, and the yet the literal show must go on. He steps out broken and the shift into character (as he faces the person who is in the same mess he is because they caused it together) was spotless. And then Mix, conveying the broken look, the subtle slow drop of the face as Dean is close to crying, close to losing it, only to step in front of the audience and snap into the happy Romeo, even having that joy reach his eyes slightly? Mix is amazing. Major props to him for this one scene.
