and also there should have been a moment where someone is being a total dick and Chloe is trying to prove she’s the better person and go the high road and Zoe is like, “you’ve grown so much and I’m proud of you! but no. kill these guys”

Lowkey think Andre having an affair AND a child out of it makes more sense. Many men who cheat excuse it with "my wife is so horrible, I can't do anything about it, I lack love so I'm allowed to look around"

Remember they had their 20th anniversary in "Heart Hunter" and Chloe is 14, Zoé 13. They had her 6 years into the marriage that's long. If their relationship always played like how we know them it's easy he looked elsewhere, perhaps even during those 6 years before Chloe arrived, can't hurt what she doesn't know and it's a one time thing right? Imagine Chloe finds out she not only has a half-sibling but an older one! One fateful day Audrey is in Paris an unidentified woman shows up at Andre's door - with a baby. Paternity test confirmes ✓

Besides, Audrey is a fashion icon and narcissistic. You think she wanna ruin her body TWO (with s6) THREE times with (accidental) pregnancies!? It's neither a piece of cake for your body nor your mind.

Considering Audrey is a business woman, work comes first, personal life later. Yet it happened one day she got married though she didn't want a child right away or at all. Andre on the other hand wished nothing more and was sure she'll come around someday. She didn't...for 6 years. Their marriage wasn't bad at first, she's mostly in NY for work anyway and travelling around. Andre is stuck in Paris, he can't leave his position. But he started to think she never truly loved him - her true love must be her job. So he seeks attention elsewhere which leads him to the bed of another woman. Once. He feels terrible to have betrayed his wife & fears her wrath so rushes outta there the next morning as fast as he can. Audrey herself took a few lovers in NY and on her travels, models, designers, men related to the job mostly. She sees no fault, Andre began to bore her, questioning where her senses were hiding when she accepted his proposal.

Eventually as her routine she flies back to Paris both for work and to see if Andre's still breathing. It's a day like any other except a random woman's announcement at his doorstep shakens everyone. Andre fathered a child. A son (Noe but with better name). They're 4 years into their marriage turning soon 5. Audrey is furious! How dare he besmear her name like this!? Andre tries to remedy his slip, explains she's never there, it's barely a marriage what they have, he felt lonely. She doesn't care, she's his wife. Acting on impulse and to try clean her name for the sake to avoid bad press, she agrees to a child with him. Chloe's birth is announced worldwide. Famous fashion critic gives birth to her & her husband's first child. Meanwhile his mistake is kept a low profile as threatened by Audrey, living with his lowlife mother.

However she's still pissed so leaves a few months old Chloe with Andre, flies back to NY and looks for a baby daddy. If he thinks he can get away with having a child with another woman boooy better think twice. At one fashion show she snatches away a young handsome model and the result is Zoé. When she shows enough Audrey flies back again to display Andre's lesson - DON'T mess with her. He's hurt and enraged too - this cannot be her solution. Anyhow Audrey failed to recall what happens after 9 months. A girl is born. She's mere ballast to her mother so she gets left at the doorsteps of her father Lee.

You see - there's much promise to resemble their marriage as of Zeus & Hera. A true love and hate matter on a constant. When Athena sprang from his head Hera got so furious he birthed a child without her, she produced Hephaistos fatherless. Though he turned out to be a disappointment for being born lame thus she cast him from Olympos until he returned

Edit: To be clear - Lee named their daughter Zoé not Audrey, it's coincidence her and Chloe's name rhyme. He saw the news, only knew she had a daughter, their one night stand was a result of passionate chemistry + Audrey threatened to ruin his career if he doesn't sleep with her, decided to block her from his life after.

Looked up baby name websites and I shall name Noe....Nicodème, nickname Nico

Kid Redbug:

a more comedic AU where a child Marinette finds the ladybug miraculous. And fights crime as the child superhero Kid Redbug. In this AU, miraculous choose and bond with their holders instead of being handed to them.

Marinette is a sweet and innocent girl of age 7. One day she comes across the ladybug miraculous and is able to bond with the miraculous and tiki becoming a new superhero of Paris.

she is essentially a pure kid who tries her best to be nice to everyone she meets. Even when fighting akumatized villains she gives off a pure personality while trying to stop them with as little violence as possible.

Leading Most akumatized villains to have comical moments of being nice to her.

Now for the supporting cast!

Adrien:

Gets his miraculous similar to canon

Is the wild fun older brother of the group.

Gives Redbug’s ideas a chaotic flare.

Is the more action heavy of the 2.

Meets Marinette due to Alya and is on friendly terms with her

Marinette has a childish crush on Adrien.

Sabine

the first time she was face to face with Kid Redbug she her motherly instincts immediately clocked that it’s her daughter.

After confronting her about it immediately takes her and goes to Fu’s to have her give it back.

It’s revealed that she is magically bound to Tiki for the rest of her life and it can’t be removed.

So instead, Sabine decides she takes a miraculous as well and helps/protects her. Everyone tried to talk her out of it.

Immediately, the turtle Miraculous activates and is connected to Sabine.

She is the responsible adult of the hero group keeping everyone in check and is the moral support for all the kids.

Can kick ass. Especially if u attack her kids and piss her off.

Tom doesn’t have a miraculous and in certain akuma attacks show he doesn’t needs one.

Alya

Meets Marinette due to part time job watching her.

Figures out Marinette is Kid Redbug immediately (but doesn’t tell her or anyone)

Helps her at times when she has to hide and transform.

When she’s Rena rouge she coddles Redbug like a little sister.

Thanks to having her own sisters young and old she knows how to talk her out of and into situation.

Chloe

Similar to canon self

Meets Marinette due to Adrien and Alya

When Chloe met her she at first just thought of her as a kid brat.

But immediately, Marinette tells her in a genuinely innocent way, “Wow, your so pretty miss”

This shot a bullet of adorable straight through Chloe causing her to spoil her as much as she’s able.

She’s still the same attitude, but when Marinette’s involve she turns into rich sister mode spoiling her new little sister.

This also translates when she becomes Queen Bee

Gabriel

same plan as normal.

While wanting the Miraculous, he doesn’t want to hurt a kid just to get it.

Will instructs Akuma to capture her while also avoiding hurting her as best as possible.

The same can’t be said for the others.

If an akumatized villain intentionally tries to hurt her or does so bad enough he will not hesitate to remove the akumatization from the villain.

Leaving the person in the wrath of the very angry team/family members.

At least 'off screen' is better than him making up new lore on the spot I guess? It's saying 'don't look at the hole!' instead of stuffing it full of bubblegum and dead seagulls then asking 'what hole?'

Sooo, if I’m understanding this correctly: Felix can apologize off-screen and have his crimes hand-waved away, which means by the same logic Chloe, whose crimes are significantly less severe than the ones Felix willingly and happily committed, should be able to do the same too.

Jokes aside, Astruc really is showing his priorities here. After all Felix gets to apologize off-screen and then everyone immediately moves on from his sins, which, again, include actual genocide that joyfully committed and helping a magical super-terrorist on his own free will & without being manipulated and groomed. Meanwhile, poor Sabrina is forced to spends months as a social outcast, with nearly everyone refusing to give her a chance, despite the fact that she was literally the sole reason Marinette was able to expose Lila back in Season 5, thus prevent their education from being fucked over.

Then again, am I even surprised? This is the same guy who “redeemed” one of the show's worst fathers by having him blame his fourteen-year-old daughter and her abusive mother for his corrupt political career and everything else that made his life miserable, then forcibly send her off with that same abusive mother while he kidnapped I mean took in the step-child he had zero involvement in raising her and zero legal rights too. Let's not also forget the deleted scene that was sooo "important" to the story according to Astruc where Andre claim that he's taking in Zoe because he LIKES HER BETTER and doesn't deserves to be abused, effectively implying that he thinks chloe dose.
