Working on that Final Fantasy based RP server. Created some graphics for other servers that I used to DM in the past, so I'm bringing a few of those over here to pretty up this server, too. I've been DMing group roleplays on my RP discord account (separate from my personal discord account, because sometimes I like logging into an account that only has one or two servers and not 103820 notifications,) for about 10 years now, give or take.

Even if nobody joins this one, I'm having fun just hammering it out, and I don't mind if it turns into another eggie I'm just sitting on. 😂❤️ I'm gonna program a custom RP bot for this one, though. Cause I hate fun and everything good in life, apparently??

Heya, Final Fantasy RP community! I'm planning on (and setting up) an FF group RP server that's akin to dissidia or Kingdom hearts, where characters are brought to a different area and there's a main plot for why.

I'm planning on having it as **RL faceclaims only** (they're basically plucked out of their worlds and dropped into a 'real world' situation), tupperbox only, 18+ (Or possibly 20+ only,) semi-lit to lit, separate RP spaces for those that prefer using trigger warnings and those that don't prefer using them so you can pick the space you're most comfortable with, no non-con/child characters allowed. All characters would need to be aged up to at least 18.

Canon characters only. Face claims don't have to be perfect matches to the original characters, either—they can be as creative as you'd like them to be! It wouldn't be strict on that front. Only one of each character, world-bending or ending powers would obviously be nerfed. Magic, fiends, materia, their OG weapons, villains and general NPCs have all transferred over, so you keep your character's original abilities.

Considering a simple leveling system for fun—all characters maybe start at lvl 10, and each successfully completed thread, mission, event, etc, lets you knock them up a level? Level cap is 100, perhaps? And the higher your level, the stronger your character is in battle or smth. But that also means higher level enemies can gank you.

No perma-deaths, Pheonix Downs will be a thing here, just like they are IG. Economy is gil, group chat enabled, various spots in game for you to RP in, NSFW sections specifically for lewd content (but gated behind roles if you don't want them?)

I'm still drawing Seifer and Squall—I picked up more books, and apparently, all my physical art supplies is either lost or got thrown out years ago. So, I'm buying a new physical sketchbook and some basic supplies.

I'll practice both physical and digital, especially since with a proper sketchbook, it's easier to draw a crapton of ugly drawings for practice really fast, and I won't be tempted to erase everything or delete the file because it's not 'perfect enough' on my screen. You gotta draw 1938292001 ugly drawings when you're figuring out how to draw in a new style and redesigning a character in that style before you draw one good one, and at least with physical media, I can make my mistakes and not have to worry about it being so ugly, or being misinterpreted in the public eye because of that.

Besides, as an ex-animation student that dropped out due to a permanent neuro-immuno disease, I kinda miss drawing like I used to when I was in uni, with a pen and paper. All this is to say, I'm still not giving up, and one day, that webcomic/webtoon style Seifer x Squall dream of mine is gonna be a reality. I'm gonna work hard and make it real. I just need time, practice, and determination. And considering my disease makes me permanently disabled, I got tons of all that.
