Hello I’m in the middle of rereading frayed feathers and my current epic fixations (frayed feathers and time travel fix it) have now mixed in my mind. Finally created a sona to represent my account here and on ao3. I made her because I've been having a lot of fun getting to do art again now that my study is over for the next month or so.

For context behind what you can see in the full pic: I've gotten genuinely sick of AI and seeing it advertised and displayed everywhere when I so much as hop online. What I saw today did not help in the slightest, so I chose to make myself feel better with some actual art.

Since I'm now seven chapters into "Salted Hearts" I can finally post this (kind of messy) art I did of young Odysseus and Penelope in the AU.

3) ALSO why on earth would Ao3 get rid of entire fandoms off the site? Even if they WERE inactive? Who knows if others will be ‘late’ to the fandom and want some fic to read. Who knows if someone wants to come back to their 6 year old account only to find most of their fics deleted.

I’m lucky to be a reasonable adult who has seen tricks like these who also had a very kind person comment their own doubts.

just a heads up to my fellow writers out there that AO3 is currently fighting off bots commenting on people’s works to tell them that AO3 will delete their fics “due to the works being deprecated”, and the deletion will affect their accounts unless the authors delete the fics themselves first. IT IS A SCAM. AO3 will NOT delete your works. please do NOT fall for these bots!

I’ve been told the reason why these bots are doing this is due to copyright infringement issue where they’re trying to steal your works (possibly to train AI but this is just a guess) ‼️‼️‼️and once you deleted your fics, it will be either very difficult or impossible for you to claim ownership of your own fics when they were already deleted.‼️‼️‼️
