I finally took the time to take another look at my self-built string-instrument. I’ve added a bridge-comb and secured the strings on the top of the neck, so they can’t jump all over the place when I play them. Doing this also pulled the strings a lot tighter, creating a much better sound. And putting in the bridge also made it possible to make better use of the contact-mic I had installed earlier. I bought a bow and plugged in my fx-pedal and now it sounds awesome!! Truth!! Also: abolish beauty-standards!! Enough people feel insecure already as it is, without some dumb and superficial system telling them they're not good enough!! All races are beautiful!!

this video shows a view of an installation I made, earlier this year.  it's about my personal struggle with the concept of time and the absurdity of this concept.  the measurement of time is a man-made structure that we are taught to rely on.  the idea behind the installation is that this creates conflict with our own biorhythm and that this man-made structure is not without flaw.  especially when we involve technology.

I turned on all the clocks at the same time.  most of them run in sync, but one of them runs faster than the other ones, and another one doesn't run at all.

this is a project I am working on in school.  the idea is that when we see images flash by, sometimes (or often) they leave an after-image on our retina. 

I wonder which of these images will stay on your retina’s.  if any.

I also find it interesting to learn which of the images are picked out by the viewer.  leave me a comment to let me know.  and enjoy!!
