i just walked into an educational building i am feeling INCREDIBLY silly.. theyre going to educate me into a normal and well-behaved girl
anyway i think it's really neat & great when people sneak into races without paying like i love when like the new york marathon has to get really pissy about having people in the photos with no bibs and stuff. we should encourage more of that, as a subculture

there can only be peace for so long
not to be too much of a hater but i really loathe the rherotical construct of "world war iii". it almost always is uttered in a glib, thought-terminating way about completely unremarkable global geopolitics by people who are the most insulated from war and would have the absolute least to lose if a "war" was declared. every single time i see it i want whomever said it to sit down with me and explain how any exercise of usamerican military force since the 50s could be clearly delineated from the idea of a "world war". its complete fantasy. makes me mad
at risk of being a little idealist in my analysis and sounding like a metal gear villain i think a lot about the current usamerican psychosphere can be explained by the fact that a war has never come home to them ever and theyd be a lot healthier as a people if there was some memory of war as something that is done to them rather than by them.
ugh whatever im being spiteful. the benefits of being an imperial core proletarian (or labour aristocrat as it were) are enough to make other nations that bear the scars of war a lot more obviously just as unsympathetic to the imperialized subject. i just want the united states of america and everyone who defends it to suffer

"Suburbs" are a type of vile geomancy, invented by agents of the demiurge for the explicit torment of innocent souls who want to "walk around" or "get a bite to eat"

is 'least favourite' akin to 'most hated' or does it tease the delicate line between pain and pleasure
The last one
This obsession with needing a social majority has nothing to do with being "practical". What it has to do with is bourgeois and defeatist thinking. This is like the left thinking that could not build a practical anti-fascist movement in Weimar Republic Germany during the 1920s and 1930s, although millions hated Nazism and wanted to do something, because that German left was too preoccupied with fantasies of either seizing or getting elected into state power for itself. That left was too lost in delusions of success almost within their hands, delusions of maneuvering together a majority, to bother even really understanding fascism coming up fast in their rear view mirror. The urgent need was to organize a working minority to counter fascism in a much more radical way. Not by trying to defend liberal bourgeois rule. All the real things that had to be done by scattered German anti-fascists later after the Nazis were put into power – such as to survive politically, to significantly sabotage the war effort, to rescue Jews and Romany and gays, to build an underground against the madness of the Third Reich – all these things were attempted bravely but largely unsuccessfully, because they had to be done too late from scratch. This is a much larger subject, too large to dive into now, but it is on the horizon, like the smoke of a distant forest fire.

It really does suck how an otherwise good work will just have incredible transmisogyny out of nowhere and it saps all your enthusiasm to keep going.
