I don't know if you guys remember the Joker one of this that I did (I'll link it when I'm not on mobile), but unfortunately his design has to retire. Not unfortunately, though, Harley is his replacement. (/ ' 7')/ Couldn't help but stick him in the corner for old times sake. Did these with chalk markers. Had to draw the sketch on one side, flip it, color and line it on the other side, flip it, then erase the original sketch to get it to what it is now. Just wanted to share with my Batfam. U wU

Idk if Tumblr ate the ask so if you got this again I'm sorry. The way you voice Jonathan is honestly my favorite interpretation of him. It actually helps me, I'm a southerner (I'm talking deep south) and I always felt my accent warranted for derogatory comments, no matter how smart I was, but seeing how you voice Jonathan and he's portrayed as southern and smart, it just makes me really happy. Please keep up the great work.

Tumblr has a TERRIBLE habit of writing my questions in invisible ink. I remember seeing this question, and then when I went to answer it later in the day? Gone. I checked all my blogs to make sure it wasn’t posed to another, and it had just vanished! Thank you for sending it again.

I get very frustrated at the assumption that a southern accent denotes a lack of mental faculty, that somehow having a southern accent means you can’t be as smart as (or heavens forbid, SMARTER than) others. In some ways, my Canadian accent suffers the same way. They hear the “eh” and people start speaking slower around me, or just straight up insulting me. It’s infuriating.

I worry with all my accents that I come across an inauthentic or offensive, so a note like this makes me feel rather good about my portrayal of Crane. I hope to (in some small way) start chipping away at the very sad myth that Southern = Ignorant.
