The Shield did not break!!! 🛡️

Man, I got so emotional at this chapter and so entranced that I didn’t even realized I was holding my breath!! This chapter where we see the resolve of both Choi Han and Mary wanting to carve the path for Cale because of how much he means to them is just so powerful!! And this is the first time we got them fighting together!! Also, the part where Raon is creating shield after shield because of how powerful Syrem’s attack was, had me sweating!! There’s so many epic moments to highlight , and my favorite is when the Glutton and the Crybaby ancient powers become one!!! It was so cool!! And the way Cale was able to block Syrem’s attack that had everyone at the edge of their seats!!! And the ending of the chapter, “ The shield did not break” it was perfect!!

Our Commander makes his debut!!!😭♥️

This is where the battle against the indomitable alliance started. We start the chapter with the citizens of the Henituse Territory being worried about the war and Cale. Then, we see the children fussing over Cale because he has been using the shield for 3 days and then, we see how Cale has been working nonstop, but has the audacity to say that he was slacking off?! He couldn’t even drink the sweet tea Ron made in peace!!😭 The battle started with the wyverns slamming themselves against Cale’s shield and then he made his entrance. Even though Cale looked so pale and fragile that he might fall at any moment, he stood tall against the wyverns slamming against his shield. Clopeh and Cale face off and Clopeh is determined to end Cale!! Then, our good girl Mary brings forth the Skeleton Brigade and everyone is shocked!! After that, it’s Choi Han’s introduction and I just love how Cale gives Choi Han a chance to write his history! I’m not crying!! Then, there’s this cute moment of Cale stuttering while saying, “ Let’s hug” to Choi Han!! And Choi Han was like, “Does he even have a side to him like this?” Lmao

It’s the fact that when Cale was in Vegas city in the Caro Kingdom, because he needed to “sell” the treasures he found in the Empire under the Sun God’s church underground cave, that he took the children shopping because that day the auction house theme was “Beast People” and he didn’t want the children to experience and see what the auction house was possibly selling!! He thought the children were too young to see such cruel things and he wanted to protect them!!😭♥️ Though, after that he reflected and remembered how vicious his lil babies are!🤭 He bought them all the things that they wanted and more, to the point the children were scared of asking for more because of how much Cale bought for them!! He bought gifts for the Wolf children, the Tigers, and the others!!Cale is the sweetest!! 😖♥️

Yk, I was just reading the chapter where Cale went to the Gyerre Territory and deals with the human trafficking that was happening in the slums, and I’m just here wondering about how many times Cale waited to be saved the way he saved them and to hear the words, “You are safe now” I’m unwell!✋🏻😭 Idk why I do this to myself!! Like think about it, rescuing them and seeing the state they were in probably made him recall all the times he was in a situation similar to what they went through as KRS!! That’s why he was so angry that he destroyed the other house even tho he didn’t need to because Antonio was there and the knights were already catching the traffickers!!

Reading the chapter where Clopeh fell for Cale and how crazy he is about legends!🤭

One of the things I like about Clopeh is that in his head only Cale exists, and he will do anything to stop anyone who gets in Cale’s way. He’s really crazy but at least we know for a fact that he would never hurt Cale. He also said that if the others got in Cale’s way he wouldn’t hesitate to hurt them, but because that would make Cale feel sad he wouldn’t do it! He’s the kind of crazy I tolerate fr! The follower of the light!!🔛🔝🤍💚

I wonder if we’ll get to see Priest Cale in the Manhwa before season four ends. He’s so freaking beautiful!! I fr have an obsession with priest Cale. He looks so perfect with his long white hair and blue eyes that is difficult not to fall head over heels for him. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of Cale’s characters but Priest Cale is my weakness! He’s drop-dead gorgeous!!!🧎🏻‍♀️💙🤍 It’s no wonder Clopeh went crazy over Cale 🤭

I’m reading the chapter where Cale earns the Super Rock’s earth attribute ancient power, and I can’t help but notice how similar the Super Rock and Cale are. When the Super Rock said that he became an orphan at a young age and that at some point all he wish was to have three hearty meals and Cale stopped walking?! My heart broke! Because it’s so similar to Cale’s childhood!!😭 In a way all of the Ancient Powers share similarities to Cale but I feel like the Super Rock and Cale are the same. The way they sacrifice themselves to save others and how important their friends are to them, and how they would do anything for their love ones! It’s so heartbreaking how they rather be hurt than seeing their loved ones suffer! When I first read that part of the novel and Cale said that he didn’t like people who died to protect others, I didn’t pay much attention to it, BUT after rereading and knowing that Jung Soo and LSH died to protect Cale/KRS it makes so much sense!! I’m unwell!✋🏻😭

Rereading Goldie Gramps introduction has me so nervous at how the manhwa is going to draw him, because he’s so freaking gorgeous!! and if they fumble him I’m fr gonna cry! His entrance was so dramatic and we love him for that!🤭 the peak of the mountain shot up and it stopped snowing, it was if Eruhaben-nim was the cause of the storm that was causing Cale and crew to shiver. With each step he took the others grew tense and held their breath, then a blond elf appeared, he was so beautiful that it would make the Whale tribe, that were known for their good looks look like squids! We know this diva!🤭 Our Raon was so excited to meet another dragon, he’s the sweetest!🥰

Ngl, when Venion’s t*rt*re session came up in the novel I was hoping for at least a whole chapter of seeing him suffer at least ten times more of what he made Raon go through. Our great and Mighty but cute Raon went through hell since he was born until he was 4 yrs old when Cale and crew rescued him. Reading the way he was calmly explaining just how gruesome his time in the cave was to Beacrox is so heartbreaking! I wanted to pulled Venion by the hair until he bled!! In this chapter we get a glimpse of how painful those 4 years were… and seeing Raon stuffing his face while watching Venion go through what he when through and crying?! I just can’t!✋🏻😭 while all this was happening Cale was silently watching Raon and making sure he didn’t choke while eating, the way he holds Raon in his arms even though his arms were shaking because Raon had gained weight?! Cale is the best! I also love that when he told Raon that he had done a good job growing bigger, Raon put his head on Cale’s shoulder and even though he could feel Cale’s arms shaking, he didn’t say anything and Cale let him, because he’s still a child!! I’m not crying!!😭

This chapter where Our Great and Mighty Raon Miru received his name will forever be one of my favorite parts in TCF. The way author-nim wrote this scene is chef’s kiss! Raon had only know darkness until he was rescued, and thanks to Cale rescuing Raon before he could give up on life and cause the mana explosion that would push Choi Han to grant the lil Dragon the freedom of death. Raon now is able to appreciate the darkness of the night sky because it reminds him of the day his world changed and he was finally free of the chains and pain from that dark cave. I honestly love Cale and Raon’s bond so much!! They are father and son, your honor!!😭♥️ Cale choosing the name “Raon Miru” which means “Joyful Dragon” is so meaningful if you’re a rereader because Cale was able to come up with this name thanks to the records of Jung Soo!! I can’t! ✋🏻😖♥️

The Birth of Our Young Master Silver Shield!🛡️

Cale using his shield for the first time to protect others will forever be iconic!! This chapter had me so nervous because of how chaotic the citizens of the Roan Kingdom were, everything is pure chaos, people are trying to stop the assailants, others are trying to run away and here you have our MC watching everything like he’s not in the middle of a terrorist attack!! Eric and the others are going nuts because Cale is his usual self and he is not moving while they just want to get away from the chaos. Ofc we know why Cale is not reacting as a normal human would, but is still frustrating to read if you are reading for the first time. The moment Cale decides to use the shield will forever be in my mind. He had no choice but to use it, not because he was afraid of getting hurt! Which would be the most obvious thing to do to protect yourself, right? But, no! Cale decides to use it to protect Eric, Gilbert, Amiru and Taylor who were trying so hard to protect him! It breaks my heart that he decided to protect others instead of protecting himself!😭 This is the first time he coughs up blood as well, and the others are losing their minds because of how nonchalant Cale is about it! Even though he and Raon used their shields to protect the others, people still got injured and some of them died because of how close they were to the suicidal bombs and how powerful they were. I like how the author added the description of how gruesome it was cause most authors just gloss over it and they just want us to admire the MC’s heroic deeds and stuff.

This is an interaction between Cale and Lock that I look back to and makes me realize how far Lock has come. During their conversation he couldn’t bring himself to look at Cale because of how nervous he was, so Cale tells him to “spit it out” and Lock starts telling Cale about himself. This makes Lock slowly starts to feel better and is able to appreciate the peaceful environment that it’s around them that Cale brings forward, and throughout the story we see how Lock keeps Cale’s words in his mind every time he’s struggling and how Cale’s back makes him strive to be like him. He is still cowardly and his self esteem is low, but thanks to Cale and the others he pushes through his shortcomings at such a young age for his siblings and his desire to be the shield they can rely on. In Aipotu we get to see Lock as a líder and start to be more comfortable in his role as the Wolf King’s successor and I’m so proud of him that it brings tears to my eyes!🥹 I also love the fact that Lock realized that although Cale is not much older than him, he sees Cale a parent!! I’m not crying!😭 Cale’s is the children’s safe place and it shows!

Choi Han asked Cale, “Cale-nim, are you not going to make a wish?” And Cale’s response was that… And I relate to him so bad. Cale is someone who’s tired of life, but he can’t die because of his promise to LSH and CJS! He’s so disappointed in life and in people that he doesn’t hope or wish for anything, he likes certainty and facts instead of wishes. And we see it throughout the story too. It took a long time for him to rely on his family to the point that they had to beg him to please trust them. It’s not his fault though, he’s hurt, he’s tired and his most reliable source is himself. I’m honestly so happy that he now has his family and is healing, though he still struggles to be honest about his feelings, he’s at least conscious about his actions and how they will affect the others.

I love the interactions between Cale and the children!🥹 they were so excited about getting a little brother. This is the chapter where Our Great and Mighty Raon Miru started to leave dead animals he had hunted for Cale! My heart can’t take their cuteness!♥️😖 Also, the way Cale listened to what the children were carefully trying to tell him first and then dismissed what they said!✋🏻🤣

Reading the chapter where Our Great and Mighty Raon Miru was rescued is so bittersweet. He was abused since birth to 4 years old and Our lil baby still had the strength to keep on living! 😭 he’s so strong and resilient that it brings tears to my eyes. Also, the way Cale/KRS saw himself in Raon and how he admired lil baby because unlike him he kept on going! They’re both so strong and their parallels break my heart! I have a feeling that if KRS was rescued the same way he rescued Raon he would’ve lived a better life!😭 in my head Raon represents Cale’s inner child and through out the story thanks to Raon and the others he’s able to heal little by little. I love them so much! 🥹♥️
