I have an Idea...
So, I'm pretty sure there's alot of Ocs out there that are related to the Ivory brothers (cousins, siblings, children, etc.) So I've had a random thought while I was watching TV that what if there's a big art collab for anybody who has an oc that's part of the Ivory family, and when the collab is completed it's basically a HUGE family photo, HAHA! I Dunno, just a thought! I'm not sure if this has been done yet, if yes, then cool! (I mean we can always do one again hehe..) If not? Then that's even better! Hope somebody does this, if ever I can't.. ╥﹏╥
No, Alucard- because what do you mean the particular form you take means nothing to you yet you turned yourself into a little girl in a pure white suit? Psychologically, this has to mean SOMETHING.
I'm sure it's related to his childhood traumas
do you guys also refer to your self-insert characters in the third person and call them by name (in case they don't have the exact same name as yours)? like, yes the character is literally me and she does have a name inspired by my name, but since it's not the exact same name as mine (and lowkey even if it was), i have the habit of referring to her in the third person as if she's a completely different person when she's like LITERALLY ME
I don't remember if i posted this on tumblr before or not but here it goes! A stottlemonk edit ^^
Bro I need people to be as crazy about Monk as they are about House MD and Culumbo and Psych and Dexter. I need to talk about one of the best portrayals of neurodivergence (in my opinion) also like he’s such a silly guy but also a such a fucking tragic character. UGHHHH I NEED TO TALK ABOUT PTSD/OCD RIDDEN EARLY 2000s DETECTIVE PLEAAAASSSEEEE LIKE ON A LARGE SCALE MAN!
Actually i'm not doing commissions, this is a gift for my best friend, they're his ocs
I found this old makeup from my mom and it was shaped like a rock, but my brain was like "oh, it's shaped like Luther's head" so I painted my vision
(I don't speak english help)
Reblogging with a link to the artist, Emily K., who's based in Philly and is firmly anti-AI! You can print this piece (and some others) for free for use at protests and such!
If I had a nickel for everytime an anime priest named Enrico was an evil bastard, I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.
Not priest kink as in "bless me, Father, for I have sinned" but priest kink as in "where is your god now, father?"
Alexander Anderson Head-Canon!!!
The man eats a lot, like waaaay more than a normal full grown man. I’m talking between 5,000 to 10,000 calories per day, and probably more depending on how much he’s regenerated. His regenerative abilities absolutely eat up (pun intended) his body’s resources, and his metabolism is through the roof.
This actually creates an interesting point of weakness in Anderson, especially when facing an enemy like Alucard: if he fights long enough and/or expends too much energy regenerating, his body will start to eat itself to the point where he becomes exponentially weaker, and his regenerative abilities slow down.
Normally this isn’t an issue for him. His regenerative abilities and super human strength give him the edge he needs to overpower the majority of his opponents, long before his body begins to cannibalize itself to its detriment. But it’s a much, much different story against Alucard, because Alucard can 100% outlast Anderson’s abilities - and Anderson knows it, especially during the final battle. I was wondering how, during Anderson’s final battle against Alucard, his regeneration seemed to stop working from just one shot from the Jackal. What is it about the Jackal that stops Anderson’s regeneration?
The answer, according to my head-canon, is that the Jackal wasn’t made with the ability to stop his regeneration - it was made to find the limit of his regeneration. Walter figured that Anderson must have a limit, and must have guessed that his regeneration was pulling from Anderson’s own bodily resources. I think Walter figured out that hitting Anderson with enough force and power multiple times would find that limit. He also knows that Anderson isn’t stupid and is well aware of this weakness, hence why he retreated when he first fought Alucard in Badrick. It would hypothetically only take one shot from the Jackal to make Anderson retreat, a shot that Alucard would certainly be able to hit him with.
During the final battle Anderson had already been fighting and thus expending his body’s resources, when he had been protecting Integra. This is why he knew he would likely die fighting Alucard, and why he told the other members to escape and carry on Iscariot’s mission. It’s why just one shot from the Jackal was so effective against him, and why he was so damaged and tired when he finally reached Alucard. It was also part of the reason why he chose to use the Nail, because he knew it was a losing battle at that point (although he definitely planned to use the nail after Enrico’s death, abandoning his humanity and emotions to become “the spear of God”, but that’s a whole other thing).
I thought of this on my own, but someone else may have had a similar idea (like Kouta Hirano himself, I haven’t seen/read any interviews or thoughts he has about his characters). This could’ve been super obvious but idk.
Let me know what you think!
