Do we have an Helmut Marko live reaction camera after Yuki’s lap in Q3?
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, it’s just the first quali of the year!!
I have been seeing lots of negative comments under the latest Sky Sports Italy videos and articles about today’s quali: very disappointed people, very angry people, but mostly very disrespectful people. So many comments bashing Lewis and Charles for their performance in quali, saying that the championship is already lost and that they are a disgrace. I always felt that Italians (I’m Italian too, don’t come for me) have always been very critical of Ferrari in general, but the line between tough love and straight up hate is very thin and has been crossed multiple times already.
So, again,
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, it’s just the first quali of the year!!
Fuck track limits
Tag yourself: Nico Hulkenberg getting the first black flag in 17 years or Kevin Magnussen getting the first race ban in 12 years?
I don’t know if any of you saw the latest NHL ad (If you haven’t go watch it, I don’t even follow NHL and I still found it amazing), but I thought it would really fit some of the F1 gen Z drivers, so here’s a little edit for you!
Also this is my first ever edit and exporting it messed up the timing, have mercy
bleeding is the most fun a boy can have without taking his clothes off
Ok but the 20 seconds penalty was just BRUTAL 💀💀
Also, big thanks to Charles Leclerc for putting me (and Carlo Vanzini, the Italian Sky Sport commentator) through a heart attack with that slide during the fight with Lando
What is it about red Italian sports teams and bad luck? Ferrari is on a whole other level of bad luck, we know it, but in the last two days Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli has broken four battens and subsequently also ripped the mainsail, gotten one of their hydrofoils stuck, nosedived, and A WHOLE PIECE OF THE CARBON FIBRE DECK WENT FLYING. Also a couple of weeks ago their mainsail rail just came off.
I think we have found Ferrari’s water sports counterpart.
Language.
Behaving in severely unmedicated ways today
Int: what is the best scenario for you, do you think?
George: top 4 crash and we win.
Int: no, seriously.
George: you ask me what the best scenario was, that IS my serious answer.
I swear this man practices witchcraft in his free time.
Charles on the front pages of italian newspapers:
Gazzetta Dello Sport: "the Man in Red"
Quotidiano Sportivo: "Charles, first king of Monza"
Corriere dello Sport: "Lionheart"
TuttoSport: "Magic"
I think that the whole “Anti Lando”, “Anti Oscar” situation is getting really out of hand.
Some “fans” (Can they really be called fans of Formula 1 when they are ready to jump at another driver’s throat as soon as he crosses their favourite?) are getting way too comfortable with blowing things out of proportion and spreading hate online to drivers who are quite literally just doing their job, and this can go from calling Lando an arrogant crybaby and Oscar an asshole to the shitload of hate that the McLaren strategists and Zak Brown are receiving for the way they are handling their drivers; let me be clear, I am all for critiquing a driver’s character or a team’s strategy while maintaining civil tones, for example I am the first who disagrees with Max’s tendency to blow his top off like he did in Hungary, and I also somewhat agree with what Nico Rosberg said about the McLaren drivers situation, but the key here is in the ‘maintaining civil tones’ part.

THE INCOMMENSURABLE JOY OF BEING AN ITALIAN AND BEING ABLE TO WITNESS CHARLES LECLERC WINNING THE ITALIAN GRAND PRIX IS UNEXPLAINABLE
I know they are hyping up so much the whole carbon fibre thing, but if they dare present a black Ferrari for Monza, the literal home of the red crowd there for the red Ferrari car, I will genuinely become a Merc fan.
Beating Max at his home race, in front of his crowd, during his 200th Grand Prix AND with a 20 seconds lead?? Lando really took no prisoners.
