The Sigil
Discovered in the bowels of the lava caves in Bears Grove, this sigil was used by the necromancer called Dorokova to hide their meddling in the dark arts, and their growing number of ghouls. It was created by their lackey, Yerith, a drow that has attempted to murder the party on more than one occasion, and has a history of working with powerful necromancers for unknown ends.
Carrying this mark, or using it to cover an area where necromancy is being practiced will hide the deeds from the very watchful eye of the Void Walkers.
Dorrah has requested that it not be used by the party, so that she may be able to find them when needed. It is up to Bal to decide if he will heed her request, or deliberately block her sight out of his extreme distrust of her dark-eyed master.

Hi everyone, this is your dungeon mom and editor, Emily, here. A heatwave, a string of technical difficulties, and life got in the way for a little bit there, but things have turned back around. So without further ado, we here at FFiF are thrilled to finally bring you part one of the finale of The Burrows Arc. Please enjoy!

Q.) Any advice for somebody who wants to start playing D&D
DM.) Do it. Find a group and get playing. Not having friends who play is not the end of the world either. Head to your local game store, get on the Facebook page of your favorite podcasts local group and put out feelers. It doesn't even have to be a D&D podcast page, you would be surprised how far reaching the interest is. There are lots of people who want to play, and they are just waiting for someone to ask them, so ask them. Also, don't be afraid to DM. It can be daunting at times, but it can also be the most rewarding experience as well. Go forth and have fun! Anzeo.) Get yourself a good group who want the same things out of the game. Also, know your race and class, it's impolite to figure your stuff out in game. Balasar.) My advice is, when you find a group to play in or DM, try and really commit to your character. I don't really do a voice, but I try and keep Bals mindset in mind when I make decisions. Doing that will makes me feel like Bal is an individual instead of just a character in a game. Creed.) Be yourself but don’t be yourself. Does that make sense? Use your imagination, create a character with back story, with a voice, with so much flavor Gordon Ramsay would approve. Above everything else, have fun with it but make sure it’s not at people’s expense. Davaris.) Find a DM that isn’t your sister if you pick a flaw like, “I can’t resist a pretty face.” It’s hecka awkward. Other than that, do it. Find a group through the internet or your local game shop and play. It’s so much fun!!!
Q.) What do you hope to see happen with your character before the end of the campaign? DM.) As the DM, I would love to see all of them make it to the end alive and unbroken (mentally and physically), and be ready for Season 2. Anzeo.) Um, I don't know, that's a difficult question. Honestly, she's pretty good with everything so far, let's just see what happens. Balasar.) I want Bal to reunite with his family and get a bit of revenge along the way. I'd say emotional growth but... Ya know. Creed.) Interesting question. Anything but a premature death would be the easy answer! Seriously though, I would like to see him settle down with his family somewhere or he could captain his own ship and get back to his aquatic adventures; that second one sounds pretty sweet. Davaris.) Short answer? I want her to find a successful relationship and get married. Long answer? I want her to be reunited with her siblings, either on this continent or back on her home continent on the West Continent. Unfortunately, I’m not even sure if they’re still alive. That’s all in the hands of the DM.
Q.) Do you have any new characters in the works? If so, could we get a taste? DM.) I enjoy human stories, so little time to make so many huge mistakes, so my next character is also a human. Her name is Mo'Shay, but she is also known as the white witch of Dresly Lane. Besides that, I'm not at liberty to say. Anzeo.) Yes, but no, I prefer in game reveals. Balasar.) I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete. Possibly a fighter. Creed.) Working on a Fighter class. Someone that can deal lots of damage and can also work as a tank. Still contemplating if I should go with a Dex Fighter or Strength. Davaris.) He’s a big softy named Baifuwien “Badger” Tengo. I’d tell you where he got the nickname Badger, but I’d have to kill you. Spoilers, sweetie.
Q.) Other than D&D, what do you do in your spare time? DM.) I DM that second game, and I work on D&D almost constantly. It is my second job that I love. Otherwise I enjoy creative writing, and when I'm not doing any of that, I'm playing video games. Anzeo.) Photography, video games, various art projects, nature stuff, binge streaming, and arguing in comments sections. Balasar.) I play videogames, I read some, and watch a bit of anime. Creed.) Video games, too much video games. Currently playing Fortnite like every other insane person out there. If I’m not playing D&D or Video Games, I like to watch a good movie and listen to tunes; currently listening to A Will Away’s Here Again. Davaris.) I love video games, which is a theme for all of us. Other than that, big spoiler coming, I actually have a child. I spend my time with him playing and watching movies and such. We’re super big into Minecraft.

Q.) What’s your favorite thing about playing D&D? DM.) I feel like the creative storytelling is a copout despite how true it is, and how much I love it. Probably my favorite thing is seeing how the group problem solves and breaks my puzzles. Will someone get naked? Will they break in? Will they double down on that lie? It is always an adventure, and I love it. Anzeo.) The storytelling, friendship, and the inappropriate jokes. Balasar.) The chance to spend time with friends and become characters with cool magic and abilities we don't have in real life. Creed.) My favorite thing about D&D is the use of your imagination. There is literally no limit to what can possibly happen, unlike other mediums; the possibilities are endless. Davaris.) The sky’s the limit with D&D. Nothing is out of reach, except for a love interest for Dav, apparently. Honestly though, I really like that you get to escape from reality for a while and be somebody else, somebody you created and can mold into what you want.
