It’s Trilobite Tuesday! Platycoryphe christyi is one of the rarer trilobite species found in the Ordovician outcroppings of the American Midwest. Typically measuring 1.6 in (4 cm) long, this small species from the family Homalonotid is often confused with the more common Calymene trilobites that emerge from similarly-aged formations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
