No, i don't know what I'm doing when I graduate. No, it's not a fun "ha ha this is terrifying what could happen ha ha adulthood is scary?!!?" My parents are already frustrated and scared and disappointed. I have no idea how I prepared for post-grad so earnestly for 3 years and still arrived here with no plan to utilize my education and skills. Am I supposed to work the shitty jobs to make my way to the intellectually valuable ones? Is that what I went to college to do?

I don't want to sound cocky or arrogant but my new job is great because I'm the only non-teenager there besides the managers and this is everyone else's first job. So my bosses love me and kind of treat me like a manager in a lot of ways. I was asked to do marketing for the restaurant, and one of them always pulls me out to take a smoke break with him and we just chill outside for a while. Also I'm the only one with a car. So I'm the delivery person for the whole store. Aka i get to drive around and deliver sandwiches and chill and everyone else is v jealous c: The people I work with are only 2-4 years younger than me and it's kind of crazy the amount of confidence and competence you gain in just a few years. Anyway one of the managers is going back to his home store in CO after the opening of this store is stable, so the younger, funner manager will be the only one left & I'm genuinely expecting them to offer me a management position down the line in a few months. Also I could actually see myself working for this company at the corporate level doing marketing or business development because they're all super chill. The CEO/owner called today and told me a knock knock joke, then said "ok that's all I wanted to say, have a good one!" And hung up.
I went out to stand on the lobby balcony last night for 10 minutes and this man started talking to me and I ended up spending 4+ hours on the balcony & he had the ice box from his room filled with rum and coke cans so we got to drinking and smoking. We watched a thunder and rain storm that lasted a couple hours. He was about 45 and completely innocuous but once we started drinking he wanted to talk about his sex life while at the same time give me "fatherly advice". It never got weird or anything, but it never once occurred to me the whole night that sitting out on a balcony looking over Bourbon street gettig drunk with a friendly 45 year old man was a weird way to spend my last night in new Orleans. I got back to my room after 1 and ended up vomiting in the shower because I drank too much. Now I'm hungover and can't believe I smoked so many cigarettes. What a weird thing to do.

I'm covered in glitter and hungover as fuck and I have an exam that's supposed to be at 10 but I asked my prof if I could take it at 9 because I'm supposed to work at 10, and she said probably, if I emailed her but she never responded to my email. It's my second day of work so i can't miss it.
i went out with my friend reilly last night and remembered why i only go out with her once a year. chick is a fucking handful and a half. she's passed out in my bed currently. We'll see how long she's there.
I need to go back to yesterday afternoon and re-think my entire evening's arrangement.

Philly Zoo’s First Ever Black-footed Cat Kittens are Thriving!
Philadelphia Zoo’s female Black-footed Cat Aza gave birth to a litter of kittens on April 8, 2014: the first Black-footed Cats ever to be born at the Philadelphia Zoo! Their names are Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. Drogon and Viserion are male and Rhaegal is female.

This has been me for the last 24 hours.
My friend always posts pictures of him and his brother and some 7 year old kid that looks JUST like them but i know its not another brother bc he only has one and i know it's not his cousin because he told me once that he only has female cousins and they're little babies so i think this kid must be like their ghostbrother like there was some sort of timewarp and one of them got stuck as a little kid but /also/ grew up so theres a double of him and he's eternally stuck 7 years old and they don't really talk about it, they just post pictures of the three of them online looking like nothing is really wrong or weird about it.
