“lonely is the muse” by halsey … yeah, i’m gonna be thinking abt this one for awhile. esp bc “if i cant have love, i want power” was my favorite halsey project, and this song feels like a new perspective + shift to those songs. esp since another tumblr user already pointed out the parallel between: “i am not a martyr, i’m a problem” -> “always knew i was a martyr” !!!

While we’re at it I love how prominent the piano is on the Anthology side. It’s very much giving sad girl sitting at her piano working out her feelings. Idk there is something extremely intimate about the production about The Black Dog, Chloe or Sam, How Did It End, Cassandra, Peter, Robin and The Manuscript. It may just be my evermore girlie busting through but it is making me feel many things.
