As far as I can tell I am the only person on the planet with my first name/last name combo (I have an extremely specific habitational surname and a first name from a different cultural tradition) but I'm wondering how common it is to be the only one these days, with increasingly creative combinations and spellings. So out of curiosity:

As far as you are aware:

No one else has your first + last name

Other people have your first + last name

Nuance I guess

#my first name with its specific spelling is quite rare #but i have one of the most common last names literally ever so #i know of one other person with my exact spelling / combo #and only via internet stalking when i was like 12

i’m not sure how to make this post as i’m embarrassed and disheartened to have to make one at all. so i will just say i had a biopsy done for a concerning mole on my upper left arm 3 weeks ago and the results came back positive for melanoma. i’m so so so so so extremely lucky that it was caught early on and that my doctors will processed with surgery for removal in 2 weeks time. unfortunately i have no insurance and am still paying off a big chunk of other outstanding medical/school bills. the procedure is going to cost me $380 out of pocket. i am incredibly aware of how much others are struggling as well and will never ask anyone to put themselves out to help, but if anyone has the capacity to help at this time especially with a reblog, i will be so humbly grateful for literally anything.
