In any tomato based sauce, vodka, or any strong alcohol doesn't make the dish taste more like alcohol, it releases alcohol soluble elements from the tomato itself, making it taste sweeter, richer and more tomato than even just tomatoes themselves, this adds acidity, which is often tempered by the addition of dairy (usually heavy cream) a la vodka is not a delicate sauce, but any means, it's made with a full intention of every major ingredient hitting well above it's weight. And if you want it even better, try using a good botanical gin or a pepper vodka for even more intensity.

Finally, a good take on this post
Concept: Angels don’t have to wear their halos on their head.
Turn the halo into a gold collar.
Shrink it down into a ring or bracelet.
Turn it into a gold septum.
Sacred nipple piercings.
please stop telling me about halo cock rings
Sleepy duck
A terrible idea, really.

one of the atla writers posted this thread azula stans how are we feeling tonight ttps://twitter.com/aaronehasz/status/1112814662393847808?s=21
Okay, but honestly, why would Zuuko have to do that?
Azula targeted him from day one. She’s his abuser.
They have an uncle, an adult, and Zuuko’s running a whole country.
This is just awful to me.
Azula is not his abusers, their father is. Azula is manipulative and did horrible things to zuko, but it is not one of abuse. They both grew up in an abuisve household and azula adapted to the situation so she could survive. She did terrible horrible things, but she did it to survive. Uncle Iroh is not at all sympathetic to azula. Zuko on the other hand, can relate more since he was also being abused by his father and it would make sense for him to reach out to figure out why azula did the things she did. And he could understand since he did horrible things because of his abuse as well. They are sibling at the end of the day, and it’s not like they’re in their 40’s. Azula is only 16 by the end. It is very much reasonable that zuko would extend a branch to his sibling to help her not only her but help him gain better understanding of his trauma
And Zuko isn’t doing it because he’s obligated to. He’s doing it because he’s forgiving her, seeing that she was abused as well, and sharing the forgiveness and support that people showed him. He doesn’t have to do it. He chooses to do it, because it’s a sign of his growth.
Can we all appreciate that not even the writers wanted what happened to ATLA.
WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE A BURRITO! 🌯🌯🌯
Have you ever just stared at your server in Chipotle while they make your burrito and think to yourself, “Wouldn’t life just be so much better if it was me inside that warm flour tortilla?”.
Ok maybe I’m a bit bit crazy but let’s be honest, being wrapped up in a tortilla is hands down the coolest thing you can do in 2019. Move over sliced bread, this tortilla has a bigger purpose.
Website says its vegan/gluten free too…good enough for me! Check them out HERE
Real recognizes real.
I finally got curious and decided to google this story, and the headline is just the tip of the iceberg.
Let it never be said again that journalism is a humorless business.
Covering an odd tale about a 14-year-old autistic boy who was handcuffed by police and suspended for running down the sidelines of a high school football game at halftime wearing a banana costume, Washington, D.C. reporter Pat Collins donned a grape suit and went out to get his story.
Speaking to Bryan Thompson, who pulled the prank on Sept. 14 and found himself at the center of a controversy over the school’s response, Collins’ sarcastic outrage seemed palpable.
“School officials accused him of being disruptive and disrespectful,” Collins said. “Frankly, I don’t see what all the fuss is about.”
He asked the student: “Why a banana? Why not a … grape?”
“I don’t know,” Thompson replied. “Potassium is great.”
Following the prank, Colonial Forge High School Principal Karen Spillman suspended Thompson for 10 days, and even recommended that he be kicked out of school for the entire year.
Shortly thereafter, Thompson had composed his own rap song about the incident (called “Free Banana Man!”), set up a Facebook page dedicated to “Banana Man,” and someone even launched a petition calling for his suspension to be lifted.
Thompson’s outrage at the punishment was shared by his fellow students, who began creating yellow t-shirts that read, “Free Banana Man!”
So the school did what schools so often do when their authority is challenged: they banned the shirts, began confiscating them, and sent students to detention for supporting their classmate.
That’s when the American Civil Liberties Union got involved, telling the principal that her actions were unconstitutional.
“But when you think about it, you might see [the school’s] point,” Collins jokingly concluded. “It starts with a banana. Then, all of the sudden, you have an apple, and an orange, and maybe a grape! And before you know it, you have fruit salad in the schools! We can’t have that.”
The school’s principal was ultimately forced to resign, and Thompson has since returned to his studies. [x]
NICE
“I don’t know,” Thompson replied. “Potassium is great.”
