Chronic tagger. Extremely occasional dead doves; tread lightly and all that.

PRE: Spoiler tags
I am NOT currently tagging DELTARUNE chapter 3/4 spoilers. For posts about newsletters, I use #UTDR newsletter. If they contain spoilers for future chapters, I'll use a chapter tag. I use #game update for updates; versions and patches.
For spoiler tagging, I use #deltarune spoilers. For chapters, I format as follows: #deltarune chapter _ (e.g. "#deltarune chapter 3"). My use of chapter tags is inconsistent, but I'll always use them for posts also tagged as spoiler.
Tag Directory
I am a goddamn slut for maintaining a tagging system and want a place to keep track of everything So Here. This is for my own reference and also so anyone who wants to search a Thing on this blog has a better idea of how to do so.
[WIP]
Character tags
I'm not going to list Every character tag here for the sake of my sanity and yours. Generally speaking:
If a character's name alone isn't enough to uniquely identify them [even outside UTDR], the character's game or "utdr" follows the name in the tag. E.g. "#sans utdr", "#susie deltarune"
Ambiguous names
Tags I use for characters who are unnamed in canon, or whose names are ambiguous/contested:
#w. d. gaster - The man himself. Will invoke for all the general gastery stuff— Entry 17, the Voice in DR, mysteryman.
#HIM deltarune - Same as above, but used Specifically for the Voice in DR.
#Forgotten man - The man behind the tree. Gives you an egg. Wrote that really long valentine in a 2024 newsletter.
#HERO_SWORD - Minikris
#Nightmare deltarune - Chapter 3's secret boss. More commonly referred to as ERAM.
truly don't know how to express this other than random word association but kris knife dessknight open fountain chara asriel buttercups vriska kill me I don't like this plan anymore you promised. do you understand
I'm imagining a Kralsusie "there was only one bed" fic in which they're going on a road trip and their hotel only has one bed and Susie's like "I'm going to to give them a piece of my mind!" And Ralsei's like "nooooo it's okay! I'll sleep on the floor" and Susie's like "no I'LL sleep on the floor! I'm used to it" and while they fight over who gets the floor Kris just curls up like a dog on a comfy chair
Kris is thinking "they'll obviously end up sharing. I'll take the chair because I don't deserve the bed" and when Susie and Ralsei resolve to share Susie's like "Kris, come on up here! There's room by our feet if you want to sleep like dog anyway" and they're like oh okay :) and join the bed
i didn’t think that this was worth mentioning but since this observation is kind of going big on Twitter right now i might as well say: this common misconception is where i got that seemingly random title from
i love krises with snakebite piercings and badly dyed hair and so on but I also kind of like Kris as like, representation for those kids who really want to be badass rebels but they have like $2 and a (semi) attentive mom and no one cooler is around to help them so their rebellions end up being like scribbling black sharpie onto their nails during class
In earlier versions of Deltarune, if you ended the double Guei battle on the same turn you first use the "OldMan" ACT, Gerson's cane would stay in the room. In version 1.04, the cane gained a unique animation where it slides out of the room.
