there's something inherently romantic in the good, heroic character who is trying to overcome their flaws, and the manipulative murderer that convinces the good character to kill someone.
no, wait, no you have to understand.
the murderer sees them struggle, they see their weakness, and they poke it. it's like a fight where the hero has a bad knee, and they're hitting that knee, and how romantic is that? to know they have a gap in the armor? to use it against them?
and to be the person that gets to see it? to watch as they ruin their lives, as they fall prey to their flaws instead, and to know they did it at your behest.
and then, Of course, how romantic to see the murderer, the instrument of your downfall, as you're in open air. to blame yourself while looking the real culprit in the eyes, for them to see you at your absolute worst and still find you pretty, but not because they see potential to get better.

i read second person pov gojo fics for fun. i read them and i giggle when they include geto. i stop giggling. i think about fic idea. i don't have to think up the first line, it was given to me from the gods. i write out the first itty bitty part. i read it over while plotting the rest of the fic. i realize that i am a villain. i shrug and write 14k hurt/no comfort fic about y/n being in an unrequited, arranged marriage while gojo pines for geto and y/n raises the kids. gege Weeps.

and you know what? it's been sooooo refreshing as a lesbian to start watching bridgerton again specifically because they're giving wlw for a season and getting to see literally every crumb of hate for the plotline, for francesca's season, and for michaela's character in particular.
all i've learned from dedicating my free time to writing jjk fanfiction (posted on ao3 under foxgl_ove btw) is that while gege definitely went too far, i also can't strip the adversity from these characters. they faced what they faced and either made it out or didn't and even when it was tragic, it was almost honorable and.
you're telling me i have to write satosugu without the hovering nuance that they both traded opinions about the people they were trying to save after a traumatic incident and one of them decided to become even more heroic like the other while the other decided to sacrifice the lives of humanity to protect the people he cares about. how the Hell do i fit all of that in a nonsorcerer au where they get to grow old together? it doesn't hit the same, bro
i look at nanami, knowing what he wants and also knowing how deeply far he ran from his own wishes in order to protect the lives of others. he couldn't be a normal guy because he knew what lurked on the other side of normal, and i'm supposed to stick him into a university au? where he has a 9 to 5?

as someone who loved the game, i do think dispatch had a lot of things that rubbed the wrong way, and it should be addressed before they take their success and run with it

I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!
