i got bored so I was like “eh, why not make one of those introductory posts to pin on my board, even though i’m a really boring person and there’s like nothing to say about me”

so anyways, here we are

let’s get down to the basics

i’m an apagender lesbian, i use any and all pronouns so have some fun with it

diagnosed with general anxiety disorder and social anxiety

fandoms: lotr/the hobbit, mcu/ the x-men movies, riordianverse (specifically magnus chase), legend of zelda, ofmd, good omens

hobbies/things i enjoy doing: binge watching, playing video games, dnd, horseback riding (i do it as a sport IM NOT A HORSE GIRL I DONT EVEN OWN THE HORSE), playing violin, theatre (plays, musicals, improv, playwrighting, costume design), chorus, and making cosplays

other interests that don’t really fall neatly under either of those categories: anything history related (specifically classical, medieval, renaissance, and ea-nasir my beloved), zoology, paleontology, ancient mythologies (mostly greek, roman and norse), classic literature (favorites that i’ve read are, frankenstein, the iliad, the odyssey, and of mice and men), shakespeare (mostly hamlet, but also r+j, and im currently in a production of a midsummer nights dream as philostrate and understudying bottom and quince), anything really geeky and nerdy i guess

ships: always on the hunt for yaoi. my main ship is bagginshield, but i also heavily enjoy samfro, blackbonnet/gentlebeard, cherik, lokius, sambucky, jedtavius, patroichillies, and aziracrow/ineffable husbands

how my pride month has been going so far

this year's been the first pride ive actually been able to celebrate so far, at least celebrate with other people

normally i have to quietly celebrate by myself or online while also be focusing on traveling, but this year june 1st happened to fall on a choir trip and i got woken up to "happy pride month" by my straight roomates, and even being told "happy pride" all day by students who barely knew me.

i got to walk around boston and instead of secretly admiring pride flags i see around the city i got to announce every one i saw and have some pointed out to me by other students.

i even went to shake shack and got to order a milkshake with limited edition pride sprinkles which doesnt seem like much but it was the first time i got to purchase something lgbtq. my choir little got some too and we got to loudly celebrate the arrival of our pride sprinkles

i made my instagram status something along the lines of "everyone has to buy me things this months or else its homophobic" and my older brother (who im not officially out to yet) liked it

anyways i still have the whole months ahead and im looking very forward to it. i thought this year wouldnt be as fun as it happened very soon after my first relationship ended but honestly spending the start of this pride surrounded by friends made it so enjoyable

I think people underestimate what Frodo was going through when he had to carry the ring to Mordor. Sam is a legend, but Frodo is also a hero. Everyday for six months the guy would wake up and have a Bluetooth wireless connection to Satan himself. He only crumbled in the last moment, Tolkien has said anyone would have fallen for the ring, let alone someone who had been carrying it for so long.

Sam and Frodo are both hero's as they are a two package deal, if one succeeds, the other does too.
