Transcript:
“My name is Kinan. I’m here to tell you today what the criminal Zionist occupation did to us. How they displaced us to shelters. And I also want to tell you that I’m talking to my bird. Maybe it understands me because the whole world can’t understand me. Today, I’m speaking in English because, in this language that everyone knows, I want to make you understand and show you what the Zionist occupation did to us, to our dreams, and how it destroyed our dreams and our aspirations. Like myself, all of us, Palestine is forbidden to dream. My friends died, all of their dreams were buried, and I also, my dreams were buried with them....because why would I dream and aspire if, in any second I may die, and all my toil, and all my aspirations, and all these thoughts will vanish? Thousands of Palestinian children were killed. Please stop killing us. We are not animals. We are humans. We have the right to live safely. The sky in Gaza rains fire. Please stop it.”
this is such vital information !! fight genocide by learning and only using the Palestinian words for the towns and cities of Palestine, because they are PALESTINIAN.
do not let Palestine be erased through language. the colonisation of language is just as deadly.

Tweets from two sisters in Gaza. One day after doing a birthday party for her 5-year-old daughter with a cupcake, Doaa and another one of her daughters, 7-year-old Sham, were killed by an Israeli airstrike
50-60 people abandoning their cars on the bay bridge during morning rush hour, throwing their keys into the fucking bay, holding a die-in, chaining themselves together… coolest motherfuckers in san francisco
article from the guardian, nov 16 2023
[ID: A group of protesters on the Bay Bridge chained together in front of a row of cars, wearing face masks, kufiyyas, and signs that read "the people demand a ceasefire." Other protesters behind them hold banners reading "stop genocide" and "no military aid to Israel." The second photo shows the same scene taken from the opposite direction; the line of cars forms the background, and protesters in the foreground lie on the ground covered in white sheets. End ID]
Donate to the Bay Area Anti-Repression Committee Bail Fund to help protesters who have been arrested and had their cars towed.
From their funding page:
Your donations are critical right now as people continue to rise up across the Bay Area. We are working closely with the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Chapter which is currently in need of money. You can donate to them (they are running a hotline and provide pro bono legal support for arrestees in the Bay Area) at nlgsf.org/ways-to-contribute/ Our biggest need right now is spreading word through any means necessary to educate protesters going out in the streets to write the NLG hotline number (415) 285-1011 on the arms in permanent ink and to call the hotline if arrested. If you want to report an arrest or trying to coordinate loved ones support from the outside you can call the the NLG Public Hotline (415) 909-4NLG Our bail funds are only as good as it who it reaches. Please help us in connecting with those who are arrested. Please also continue checking for updates on our website: https://antirepressionbayarea.com and on Instagram at @antirepression_bayarea .
my friend is palestinian, i’ve known her since i was 15, she & her family moved to jordan bc they can no longer live in palestine from how bad things are, we keep in touch but she misses her home, the land that was stolen from them.
my teacher, he taught me how to read, how to write, how to count, he taught me basically everything i know, died a few years ago in palestine, now his entire family is gone.
there’s so many people that i don’t know, that we don’t know, entire families wiped out because of what’s happening in Gaza, i’ve been very vocal in twitter/x, and since i didn’t see anything here (i’m not very active here due to personal issues) i thought i should speak up.
we as humans should speak up, what’s happening in Gaza, what’s been happening for years and years, long before i was even born, is genocide. it’s not war when one side has total control over the other, it’s not war when one side has the support of the whole world, it’s war when one side is the oppressor.
i have seen many faces of children, hurt, bleeding, dead, or crying next to the bodies of their families, of their friends, of their neighbours, they haunt me at night, they haunt me when i’m awake, all i can do is speak, i have no power to physically help them but i can use social media to bring awareness, to help as much as i can, so please, please, please, i am begging you, as a musilm, as a human being, i am begging you to help however you can.
just last night, 45 families, an entire bloodline has been wiped out, 45 families. this is genocide, israel should be condemned for their on-going war crimes yet the media paint them as innocent, they paint them as someone who’s retaliating, when in truth this is not what’s happening at all. israel is targeting hospitals, asking people to evacuate yet they bomb them as they’re doing so, they’re depriving Gaza from water & electricity, so they can bomb and kill and wipe them out without the world seeing the footage, without the rest of the world seeing israel as it truly is, a terrorist occupation who’s committed several war crimes throughout the years.

The names of the Club Q victims are out. Let’s pay our respects to each of them and celebrate their lives.
Daniel Davis Aston, 28
Daniel was a bartender at Club Q. An outspoken trans man, he continuously helped raise donations for Black trans people on his Instagram. He was “the light in every room” according to his close friend.
Raymond Green
Raymond was celebrating his friend’s birthday when the shots broke out. His friend Rich apprehended the shooter as he died. After his death, his girlfriend posted on Facebook, “u are my home. my heart. my everything. u changed my life. u made life worth living.”
Kelly Loving, 40
After moving from Florida, Kelly was new to the Colorado scene. A nurturing soul, she was “like a trans mother” to her friends. “She was loving, always trying to help the next person out instead of thinking of herself. She just was a caring person,” her sister told the New York Times.
Ashley Paugh, 35
Ashley and her friends decided to go to Club Q after spending time shopping and getting dinner together. She was a family woman and “lived for her daughter” according to her sister. She is survived by her husband and 11-year-old child.
Derrick Rump, 38
Always bubbly and joking, Derrick had no shortage of friends in the community. He was a part owner of Club Q. “He was a kind loving person who had a heart of gold,” his mother told reporters. “He was always there for my daughter and myself when we needed him also his friends from Colorado which he would say was his family also. He was living his dream and he would have wanted everyone to do the same.”
Colorado Gives is the official donation site for the survivors and victims’ families. Please donate if you can!
Lainey Molnar
My favorite thing about this is that the “traditional” woman isn’t always on the left. By switching it up the artist is really committing to the idea that the right way for a woman to be is however she wants.
Just wish some of the women were plus size..
I really love how much Lainey’s art and positivity is bringing people joy and I really hope you’re checking out her insta, it’s full of so many more
It got better
That first one completely floored me. There is no such thing as an incomplete woman. There is no such thing as an incomplete person, for that matter. If you are human, you are complete.
I mean you’ll still be growing. Grow into your own life as it fits you. But you were always complete.

Can’t Risk it
to be clear the first one is the original. i just riffed on it because it’s a powerful message.
And yes MLK said all the quotes above. The sanitized version and image most have of him is wholly false.
JUSTICE FOR CASEY GOODSON
On December 4th, 2020, Casey Christian Goodson Jr. (23 years old) was shot three times in the back and murdered by a Sheriff’s Deputy as he was entering his home in Columbus, Ohio. Goodson’s family stated that he was returning home from a dentist appointment, holding a Subway sandwich, his face mask, and his keys, when he was shot.
Two days later, the Columbus Police Department made a statement alleging that James Meade, the deputy responsible for Goodson’s death, saw a man believed to be Goodson with a gun while driving. Meade then approached Goodson after he exited his car and walked home, where he was shot.
Hours after the shooting, the US Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio, Peter Tobin, confirmed that Goodson was not the fugitive they were searching for. However, Tobin also added that he believed that the shooting was justified, claiming that Goodson was shot after he refused to drop his “weapon.”
Yet another Black man murdered by the police.
DEMAND JUSTICE.
