Unpopular opinion. As much as we all would love the opportunity to meet Taylor, I think it’s problematic that people continually line up outside venues that aren’t concerts or award shows, all in an effort to see and meet her. I think it’s much more important that we wait for Taylor to invite us to meet her. Doing anything else, with the clear objective to meet Taylor, is honestly creepy and should make Taylor uncomfortable no matter who’s doing it.

i hear ya but also like this has been a thing for literally years. i saw emma made a post abt the fact that sundance like knows what to expect and probably predicted this or at the very least taylor’s team warned sundance abt the prospect of fans showing up in huge numbers. also i think the “invite us to meet her” is kinda limiting. not every has the time to have a fan account for her and also like not everyone can afford to fly to sessions or fly to la an award show or buy concert tickets like im sure there are a lot of utah natives at sundance right now like yes im sure its frustrating to accommodate but taylor knows thats what happens when she goes literally anywhere and im sure she tells the right ppl to be prepared

not to add on but also i think there’s a clear distinction in what’s okay and what’s not as far as lining up in an effort to see her. you mentioned award shows and while this isn’t an awards event, it is something of a similar nature in which there’s a red carpet and a ticketed event inside. to me, like gracie mentioned that i’d said, the fact that they prepared with barricades to keep fans in a specific area rather than saying ahead of time “please do not loiter outside” tells me it’s okay. whereas doing something like trying to find her car, waiting outside of her home, etc is ABSOLUTELY 100% CREEPY AND INAPPROPRIATE
