I guess I’ll introduce myself?

Hello! I’m Ximena Aguilar-Iman. I’m 22-years-old, and I’m the Marketing Manager at WayneTech (the tech branch of WE). 

I’ve lived in Gotham City all my life. My mother and father, who have since passed (both killed by Joker, my mother when I was 13, and my father when I was 15) were from Syria and Puerto Rico, respectively. They moved here when they were young adults, met, fell in love, and had me!  

I graduated from Gotham High with honors, then Gotham University after Double Majoring in Marketing and Graphic Design and Minoring in Computer Science.

I do live in the Narrows (despite having the money to live in a slightly nicer part of the city), and my daily commute to the Wayne Enterprises Tower is pretty hectic most mornings, seeing as I ride the metro from the station three blocks from my apartment to the station 5 blocks from the Tower and walk everything else.

Hopefully, I’ll have some interesting notes and experiences to share with you!

It’s about 115 degrees Fahrenheit right now in Gotham, and our usual cloud cover is nonexistent. I didn’t think anything in this city could survive in direct sunlight anymore, but apparently I was wrong.

We can survive, but only barely. Even the plants look tired.

the gotham rogues have a betting pool on who’s gonna kill the joker first harley or the red hood and like. this is a very serious betting pool. rogues from other cities have money on this. lex luthor put so much money on harley that he’s now personally involved in making sure she’s the one that does it

So, after a lot of research and precautions, I tried my first spell!

Good news! I’ve taken the rest of the week off to study the magic book I’ve been given.

So far, it’s talking a lot about protecting yourself and not much else.

That’s not a bad thing, I don’t think. Better to know how to protect yourself from the beginning, rather than get yourself killed with a fuck-up.

Honestly, I’ve flipped through it a bit on my off days, but I’m waiting for a time that I can actually read it. I’ll probably take a vacation here soon so I can go through it.

For now though, it’s sitting on my kitchen table, constantly reminding my of its presence.

Which is weird, because my ADHD tends to gloss over things that have been sitting out in the open for more than a week.
