Annaliese fun facts/headcanons ?

Courier Annalise

Has a cast iron stomach and will eat just about anything that's considered edible. Not completely stupid to eat heavily irradiated food though.

Her weapon of choice is the humble shotgun. Further on in her travels, she takes up Dinner Bell as her main firearm.

Her poncho is made from the skin of the Legendary Fire Gecko. She didn't have it when she first started out with her Courier job.

Big MT Anna

Can crush a watermelon with her thighs.

Knows how to ride horses. More specifically, big bulky draft horses. She doesn't keep one at Big MT though. Not yet anyway.

Her favorite type of flower is the forget-me-not.

Chapter 9: Zero Hour

That Tuesday morning had begun with a gift. A gleam of silver was caught in the lamp light and clumsy from sleep, Mobius reached out to find the source. His fingers caught the corners of a box on the nightstand and as he sat up from bed, he tested the weight in his hands. Whatever it was, it was light. A pen perhaps? Or maybe a pair of warm, wool socks. He was hoping it was the latter; the airflow in the mountain’s caverns had a nasty habit of chilling his poor feet. As it turned out, it was neither. Wrapped in tissue paper, was a tie, in the same shade of carmine red as his custom uniform. Stitched into the fabric were an interlocking pattern of hexagons, forming a silky weave beneath his finger tips. “Good morning,” greeted a low voice. He looked up to see Klein padding towards him in velvet blue house slippers and a matching, just-as-plush bathrobe. Strands of white hair clung to his glistening forehead, the air spiced in lemon peel and cardamom. The smell stirred up pleasant memories of the past few nights; the long hours spent canoodling together with Klein, who lavished him with kisses and carcasses and sweet words of endearment as soon as they were alone behind closed doors. The thrilling discovery of Klein’s little pet name for him, a name that only came tumbling out of the other’s lips whenever they had sex; the soft exhalations of darling when Klein was pinned beneath him, a darling stripped of all pretentiousness, laid completely bare like the man who professed it. Mobius came to the quiet realization that he loved Klein, completely, in those moments.

heyy :3 I’ve got a random Big MT Anna question, what do you think is the worst thing she’s done that she’s had to justify during her work at Big MT?

Bonus as well, what’s the worst thing she’s been fully/mostly on board with in Big MT, if anything?

Definitely any experiments regarding radiation effects on animals and people — in order to genetically modify plants to have radiation resistant genes, Annalise and her employees have to test to see if subjects can eat irradiated fruits and vegetables they've selectively bred to see if consuming them will wind up with little to no harmful side effects. Unfortunately, just testing on animals isn't enough, and thus unassuming test groups/towns wind up receiving irradiated food rations.

Annalise is mostly on board with the creation and production of cyberdogs, but for more humanitarian purposes rather than the whole "sniffing out Communists" thing. They have such great potential to be helpers of humanity, acting as more advanced versions of guide dogs, cadaver sniffers, rescue dogs etc., etc. I feel like making a cyberdog isn't exactly very comfortable for the dog, though.

She's also on board with the trauma harnesses and the food production and pest control of X-22, but believes the harnesses need a lot more tweaks to be fully functional (like that's ever gonna happen with how often Big MT cuts corners lmao), and is wary of the usage of genetically modified spores for pest control (and for good reason).
