So I got busy- lost 100% of my data on both of my switches and still don't know what happened, but was able to save the digital cards so I'm finally starting from scratch again. Plus, schedule full of work and internship applications.

As an apology, heres Roman celebrating his birthday (accompanied by Virgil, Jirou and Iida from BNHA, and Marina from Animal Crossing because I had her on my island before The Incident).

I love gift shopping for my friends. The wrapped package is an eaJ CD- it was supposed to be a record but I couldnt find anyT_T so hopefully she'll still think it's cool.

She also looooves matcha and it sounded like she was in need of the good quality stuff... I don't know much abt matcha but I think that's what I grabbed? Oh and I love little treatos so I gave her some. The pikachu cake is actually from my dads trip to Japan<3

Given that Virgil's anxiety, I always imagined that other mental disorders might have colors and OCD has always been teal to me? Maybe because Remus is green (intrusive thoughts OCD) and OCD always makes you question your morals and make you feel like a bad person if you don't do xyz or if you have certain thoughts.

A student org I'm in had a social where we were supposed to paint and I showed up fully prepared to participate... But I ended up sketching on my phone the whole time. I took my canvas home and decided to draw a dragon in one go, no sketching. To challenge my perfectionism and social anxiety, I'm sharing her with you.

Was talking about my (openly queer) roommates to my parents and mentioned that one is a lesbian, which prompted my dad to say, "Do you really believe in that?"

If you ever wonder what it sounds like while I'm gaming, screaming chickens, explosions, and Girl in Red all at once is probably pretty accurate. (I think my mic picked up some weird echoes, sorry-_-)

So I used to post on Blogger before I realized that no one uses blogger, and I posted a poem I wrote for class last year. I'm not huge on poetry and I know it doesn't fit the general theme I've been going for on here, but I figured I'd post it anyway. It's about my best friend who I call often but rarely get to see and a conversation we had.

It's titled Loops:

You say our conversations repeat

All the same topics, no new events

Never-ending homework assignments pile

We sit on our beds and ignore it

The pan sizzles as you cook dinner

You say you wish you were more like your mother

There is grace in our simplicity

The paths they carved from bones

Oue only conquest is slaying hunger

And picking up papers once ignored

Showing up to class and laughing later

Because, though routines change

It seems our conversations are on a loop.

Can we talk about how weird being ace is? And how weird coming out is? Because for me, I expected it to not be nearly as big of a deal as it ended up seeming and it was a very different conversation than when I came out as bi.

Initially, I came out as pan to my mom (before I knew I had a preference), and she just said ‘but you don’t like girls’. I was at a loss for words because I was clearly saying that I did, but I think she meant that I never talked about girls to her growing up. There’s so many reasons why, though- I’m mostly attracted to men and she would ask me questions about boys, so there was no prompting for me to even begin to think about girls that way, or any indication that that would be okay. But because I prefer guys, I ended up slipping back into just saying I’m ‘bi-curious’ or nothing at all.

Being ace has always had a much bigger impact on me. I’ve always dreaded ‘that talk’ with guys and never really understood the appeal of being intimate or having an allo relationship. When I first heard the word ‘asexual’ it was from stumbling upon ace tiktok compilations and it immediately resonated with me. The first time I came out, I don’t really remember. I must have said something in passing, but the comments from my parents were ‘but it’s so natural, how could you not want to experience that?’ Or a combination of things about me being too young to worry about that.

One thing my dad said to me really early on, in a very tentative conversation about it, was something along the lines of ‘just do what feels right’. Kind of like saying he didn’t really care as long as I was happy, just to live in the moment. Such a small comment but I still remember it, because I am an adult now and still, the thing that feels most ‘right’ to me, in this moment, is still using the label. It feels like me. It makes me happy.

A lot of people believe sexuality is fluid- I do, too. As you grow and change, your labels might, too. But I think forcing myself to do anything that feels unnatural- using labels or not, trying to fit any identity perfectly- has caused me the most stress. My parents still don’t really get it, so I avoid the topic with them, but I take what they say with a grain of salt and I thought maybe some of my experience could resonate with my fellow aces. Maybe my dads advice could help you, too.

I rarely play Miitopia anymore, but when I did I made all of my characters myself (mostly because Nintendo is greedy and paywalled online features, but I enjoy making them so it's a blessing and a curse:/) and my Sanders Sides characters came out really well I think!

The accidental ship moments- Remus ends up looking more normal than ever before. You know he sank that boat later. And a Moceit moment where you can't tell whether or not they're having fun or fighting with each other.

I also had a minor addiction to MHA (until the Stain Arc ended and suddenly I got bored). Remus ft. Jirou and a few faces from before Nintendo paywalled the online play feature🙄

Minecraft update #2:

I FINALLY found apricots to make jam! I'm making a Jam Roulette by putting a different flavor jam in each slot of a dispenser in the Bi-kery. It's causing a major expansion in my farm and orchard but worth it. (Also I always forget you can pick fruit and it looks like this)

Also, some drama- I tamed FOUR wolves and promptly got them killed after being ambushed by three bearsT_T but I ended up taming one and naming him Winnie. I built a divider between him and the unicorns but he promptly climbed over the one patch I left open, so I decided he needed a door and they are friends now.

Also also, I have the Corail Tombstone mod, and upon praying, received a Gemstone of Familiars and was able to resurrect a wolf! I named her accordingly.

I found a couple nifty armor accessories. I dont want them to break so I rarely use them, but I ESPECIALLY love the horns🖤 (The crown is from the Epic Knights mod)
