Actually you SHOULD make problematic content. You SHOULD explore dark or taboo topics. You SHOULD have a space where you can cope with your traumas or explore sensitive topics in a way that doesn't hurt anyone.
"Location: ask your local punk"
People ask me and I don't know where
Yeah I kinda hate shit like that, just don't advertise it if you're gonna word of mouth the venue
Generally speaking, I think you're supposed to ask one of the local bands on the bill or whoever is hosting. At least as someone who's been on the other side of that kind of flyer, the booker usually assumes the artists are going to be vetting people dming them to get the info. All the good house venues in my town that posted the address on the bill either were shut down by cops or by hordes of frat boys coming in and being jackasses in people's houses, so now everything is "dm for addy" (more of a rave scene thing from what I've seen) or "ask a punk" bc very few of these kinds of venues are making enough money to deal with the hassle! Not even to mention renegades on public land that often don't have the location released until day-of just so that we don't get there to set up and there's already the county sheriff waiting for us.
sewing down my knife patch on my hoodie pocket horray. its got a nice subtle 1312 which is fun
using embroidery floss as my thread as usual, and a large thick needle with a big needle eye hole, so its easy to thread the hole with the thick floss.
a lot of my autism masking is just making myself more palatable for other people and my therapist said "does spock make himself 'more palatable' for others?" and had me promise to keep unmasking like:

These are the coolest pair I've ever seen, I've got to watch them change so much
having anti punitive justice morals sucks because you want to say "man that guy sucks he should get hit with hammers until he dies" but you also want to make it clear you don't think anyone should be put in charge of the 'hit people with hammers until they die" machine.
did some more work on my hat recently, not many changes but it’s nice working on it again
When youre a kid youre like wtf adults are making themselves sick with poisons and when youre an adult youre like i need more poisons ASAP

It bothers me so much that the healthcare system relies so much on the patient's ability to advocate for themselves, organize their history, and be so persistent against every medical “professional” who says there’s nothing wrong/they can do. But so many struggle with fatigue, brain fog, and face such ingrained systemic barriers, that the people who need and deserve help and support can’t access it.
I saw something recently that resonated with me: “Access shouldn't depend on who has the energy to fight for it.” And I’ve never agreed with anything more.
The unpaid labour of managing your health shouldn't just be an individual responsibility, we should have systems as a society for this.
It's a skill that not everyone has mastered yet and the punishment for not knowing that skill shouldn't be ill health and death.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and having systems that can keep people healthy when their problems are less severe can save suffering and money in the future when they come in with the situation a lot worse because it's been unmanaged.
They weren’t lying when they said that as an adult you have to fight for your life to practice your hobbies
They also weren’t lying when they said that when you fail to do so your soul shrivels up inside your body and dies
