Kurasame is stuck in the Central Hub holding hands with Bethany so he's out and won't be able to participate in Bestiary Quest. If anyone wants a mini, like this post!
"We all deserve mercy in this place, so if I may, I'd like to make a request to revive Kurasame Susaya, from the island of Ira. No one should go through a fate as cruel as death..."
Bethany Hawke, your prayers have been answered. Whoever the Holy One is, they have listened to your reasons. No one deserves mercy–you’re in this place for a reason–but the Holy One has decided to pity your friend!
The soul of Kurasame Susaya has seemingly been pushed up from the deep darkness. Their body appears in the middle of no where on Ira.
Welcome back, @frstrpr. Thank the Holy One and your goddess @fugitivesmantle!
As per failure to abide by Ira's island rules, you will be executed by your own Demon. Your soul is set to be trapped within The Confessional and can only be retrieved via prayer of a fellow soul.
Giving a brief command to his own demon, Leviathan also took her Soul form, following her sibling’s path in seeking the nearby creatures.
“Agreed.” Realising that they were running short on time before an inevitable attack happened, Hades cast crimson eyes to the floor, seeking a makeshift weapon for himself. There was little on the barren ground, but a rock caught his eye. In a pinch, the smallest of things may help, and so he picked it up, being sure not to spend too long with his sights far from the surroundings. “Then we must move.”
Without another word the God took a moment to nod at the other, before beginning to pace towards the volcanoes, hesitating for a mere second to ensure the other also set out on the move. After all, now they may have to spring into action at any moment…
“I suggest we also keep together, lest the worst occurs. If things become too dire however, endeavour to escape. There is no need for multiple deaths here.”
Kurasame trotted towards the location in mind. However, as he quickened his steps and balanced his body, one of the savage creature caught his cape. Thankfully, the nails were far too sharp and so instead of catching him in full, the fabric was stripped off of him and he was allowed to escape and thereby followed suit. Staggering as he did so, his eyes followed the course of the events and it appears they're following the pair as expected and wanted. He hit the incoming targets with the arm's length tree branch as he ran, some splatter of blood came across his armor and made a mess.
"Top side." Used to commanding people, he declared which the other should look out for. "On your left! Three of them just a few meters away from you!" Arriving to the scorching pits would make all of these easier. They just have to kick these monsters and let them fall.
“They certainly appeared out of no where.” Giving a curt nod of agreement to the man, Hades cast his gaze around, still rather taken aback by the sudden appearance of these creatures. During their rampage he hadn’t come across any of the others who occupied Ira, at least until this point. Whilst he still carried a strong dislike for engaging with people-this circumstance was dire. There was little chance that anyone could handle these beasts alone, and if there was some way he could aid his tribemates here, he would.
“The plan sounds viable.” Speaking up briefly, the God continued to scan his surroundings, cautious of a sudden attack. “If our Demons maintain their soul forms until we have provided an adequate distraction, it will lend us an element of surprise. We must act quickly however. From what I’ve seen- these beasts may have an advantage over us.”
Soon enough they'll come closer and they will be devoured if they don't act. Lucifer was around and surely have heard what the plan was. Pretty brief, but there's only so much people could do at a situation like this. Kurasame nodded in agreement and immediately grabbed a worn out tree branch on the ground. Not really helpful as a weapon, but as a distraction it could be something else. The Demon of Pride accepted this as a sign that they must begin and engaged in her Soul Form, actively seeking out the nearby creatures.
"I suggest we lure them towards the active volcanoes." It would be a long walk, but the Demons could push these unknown beings into several boiling pits. There's no telling what's the effective method to use right now. "They move too fast. We really have no time to just remain here."
These plants… they weren’t akin to anything he’d seen before. Of course they’d learnt somewhat about flora back in the academy… but nothing quite like this. Despite the barren, and desolate nature of this fiery land, they still grew, attached to many of the rocky outcrops. There was something oddly… captivating about that idea. The idea of beauty in chaos. Yet he kept his distance, fearful of the dangers such plants could bring. Who knew if they were poisonous? Becoming a victim of his own stupidity was something he wasn’t planning on doing.
So silently the God stood there, observing them with a peculiar interest. It was pleasant, the first time he’d really been able to steer clear of others. At least, it was until he heard the sound of footsteps- an unnerving idea when you were sure you were alone.
Pausing for a moment, he ducked behind some rocks- perhaps a few moments too late to not be seen. After all, he wasn’t so sure that he’d want anyone seeing him admiring plants after all. Quietly he called to Leviathan, who had been standing nearby, poking at the plants herself. Giving her a swift order to go and see who, or what, was approaching, he kept his hidden position. Whilst he wasn’t especially keen on using his demon like this, it was sometimes essential. He didn’t know what sort of beings lurked around this place, only having explored a fraction, and besides, being interrupted was hardly appealing either. Quickly she gave him an answer- a man with a covered mouth was approaching.
Could it be another resident of Ira?
Sighing softly, he peeked out around to see what was happening, only to catch sight of a man. Was this the stranger that he’d met earlier, the one who had little idea what a ‘pun’ was? He didn’t think that he’d mistake someone with such a distinguishing appearance. After all, he hadn’t met anyone else who covered their mouth in such a manner, let alone someone else who resided on this damnable island of Ira.
So keeping himself partially obscured by the rocks, he spoke up, swift and to the point.
“It seems that we meet punce more. Although I did not expect another to venture out so far in these barren lands.”
The puny walk was deemed short, their venture commencing just about an hour after his awakening. Although it had already been long since he had opened his eyes to meet the barren world, he still felt himself groggy and drowsy to which Lucifer eased him with a gentle massage on his shoulders as she hovered behind him. Usually Kurasame would deem the act too personal and a little unnerving, but the Demon's fingers were relaxing and the strength in her hands were not too painful. It was comfortable to say the least and it made the daily routine of searching for answers have an easy start.
Coming to an abrupt stop, the Master determined the cause of his unearthly lack of security in his environment by eyeing a certain something in his general direction. That strands of hair sort of embedded an idea into his memory and he had only remembered what exactly when the Demon whispered into his ear as she kept herself active in momentarily pleasing him. Before long, Lucifer stepped up as to prevent any future harm should it come towards her owner. There was no telling why exactly was such a famous man hiding himself behind weathered rocks.
"My, If it isn't the Island Ruler himself. Is this a jest?" Of course, it would anger the one owning the sin of Pride to find someone who evidently lacked it. With the way he concealed himself from the pair, it says a lot about his bravery-- close to none. Kurasame would disagree at the thought, but was quite too disconnected to retaliate. The creature who appeared to be a young woman loomed over, wondering if she was not seeing correctly or if it's true that such a being was not around.
Lucifer eyed her Master behind her, playfully smiling before floating in front of their so called boss. "So, Mister I'm-not-really-sure-who-you-are, reveal your Demon. I wish to speak with my sibling and ask them why exactly do you look so nervous to see us. I do understand that my Master is quite appealing, but your look is offensive as you appear to be intimidated. Surely that is not the case?" Whatever he was hiding, it was her chance to know. At least now that her Master was too occupied in his own world to stop her.

"I opened my eyes and suddenly we're surrounded by these hungry mutants." It was lucky to bump into someone he's acquainted with, or at least he believed he is. They’ve at least engaged a few times and that was enough for Kurasame to decide that he should help. They're tribemates, are they not? Lending a hand to one another should be the key to finish this. "Let's use our Demons together and ourselves as decoys. What do you say?"

THAT’S FINE I’LL GET YOU SOMETHING SHORT AND YOU CAN REPLY WHENEVER
Something was peculiar about this man. Judging strictly from his appearance alone, she quickly assumed for him to be an assassin. What other reason would he have for hiding his face behind a mask like that? But now this raised a new question. Did he arrive like this or was he sent after her, and if it was the latter, who would already be after her?
Whatever the case may be, she wasn’t concerned by it. He was probably just human, and what could he alone possibly do to a nearly immortal being? Especially here in a place where the sun never rose.
“You know, you shouldn’t sneak up on me like that. if you need something you just have to ask.”
It was not a good idea to roam around Ira for long, especially when residing in there was dangerous in itself. Though stationed at the island of Wrath, at times where he feels himself slowly fading away into a slumber, he orders Lucifer to accompany him somewhere safer and such a place was the Central Hub.
He had offered for him and Lucifer to sleep in shifts come trouble saunters towards them, but as expected of the Demon and her embodied sin, she had simply refused and had guarded him instead as what a loyal familiar would. He had only accepted the terms as she did not need any form of sustenance, much like him but she does not feel the innate desire.
"I've sensed you not too far from here," he admitted with his eyes unfazed of what she might be. "Not me, but my companion."
Thank goodness for that at least. She could rest a little easier knowing that she was just missing, rather than dead. Perhaps her siblings would come and find her at some point, but she wasn’t holding her breath at this point. Nodding at the other’s agreement, she gave a smile. It was nice to meet people with such a friendly air about them.
“And the pleasure is returned, Kurasame.” Saying the name to let it roll off her tongue felt strange. These people were a lot more foreign than she thought. Though she should have expected as such. “Absolutely. Well, unless all these demons are like Leviathan. She can be so loud at times, I don’t even think the Templars could handle her…”
"You know... Not to intrude. But aren't you getting a little too chummy with my Master?" The embodiment of Pride materialized before her owner and aimed the tip of her fingers at the woman's neck, as if threatening to slash her throat should she say the wrong thing. "I take it, you think just because you guys are both stuck here it's all fun and games and everyone is allies with each other. Girl, you are so wrong."
"Lucifer," Kurasame breathed authoritatively with the intention to dismiss her and her attitude. He wasn't about to simply accept this. "I wish to speak with Miss Bethany and if doing so is impossible with you around, I must order you to be away for a moment."
“That’s a cool mask that you have there, mister! You almost look like you have a set of lion fangs, uryuu!”
“Saku- I mean, Satan… Don’t say things like that, especially to a stranger. Now apologize to him.”
[ Have no fear, brother. I'm sure my Master minds not. I'm curious what's underneath as well. ]
"You best quell your curiosities elsewhere, Lucifer. My name is Kurasame. You do not happen to know our circumstances, do you?"
Anyone from Ira online and willing to do Bestiary Quest, I'm here and I'm ready to kill.

“Ah… Sorry. You’re right though. But this doesn’t feel like my home world at all. It feels like the legends and stories they tell of the void, but that’s about it. Call me stupid but we’re not all dead are we?” She paused however, heaving a gentle sigh.
“My name is Bethany… By the way… If we’re here for a while, we may as well get to know one another, right?”
"No, you are not." Though there's no telling if she's wrong with that assumption. They all appear lively and all, no signs of death engraved in their physical bodies. It had him wondering of the same thing, if not for the sudden interruption and what he'd call a friendly introduction from the woman.
"Kurasame Susaya. It's a pleasure to meet you, Bethany. I hope we can maintain this kind of treatment for how long we have to."

“Excuse me? I uh, have a question. Okay, so, let’s say by chance I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing here on this island, what would you recommend? I mean, I totally know what I’m doing though. I’m just asking for a friend. He’s um… lost, and whatever. Pretty pathetic, huh? I know.”
"I fail to see it as something like that, but I will try my best to help regardless. This is the central station, where most gather to devote themselves to their previous beliefs. I believe I cannot say more about the use of the wandering faceless creatures, they do not seem capable of conversing in proper. Might I ask where you're from?"
