Argh, it was Hal and the Schemers that painted the blades, not Shadia. Shadia actually used them and therefore turned them from relics into props through use, but it was Hal and co who actually painted them.
Shadia reforged them into anchors, but it was through the usage, not the painting.
I wonder - did Cyd and Teor’s light powers show up around the same time in the Falconer’s Rebellion as Bolaire’s awakening? If so, what was the instigating force/incident, if there was one? Did anything else happen for some in our cast at the same time?
Marisha: who did not level up?
Taliesin: I'm in a handbag.
Sylandri, the so-called “shaper of life.” Yeah. More like the ultimate narcissistic control freak.
Even the smallest infraction of her rules got punished, even telling others not to use a particular word and making the mistake of using it in example.
You were kept essentially as children forever romping in her idyllic garden, but you better learn the steps of her dance perfectly.
You had to go to her to ask permission to have children - what an efficient way of breeding out dissenters. Too bad for her some druids managed to survive her death, but at an extremely high cost.
Now she’s gone the elves can’t breed at all; she took their ability to reproduce with her as a final assertion of power. It might take a while, but their Shaper is going to take her dolls with her, only they won’t have their easy path to Faerie anymore.
I’m sure we’re going to hear more of how draconian life was under her rule as the campaign goes on - sometimes the nicest houses on the street hide the most abusive parents.
“Fuck th’Creed, I hope they all get eaten by big snakes.”
Oh, Wic! I’ve never had more respect for you. This girl from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne fuckin’ salutes you, you magnificent bastard.
Oh gods, the meeting of the Sundered Houses is going to be at the Villa Aurora.
There’s an angel captured in the basement.
Tsul’rekshi loathes captivity.
Tsul’rekshi exists to destroy “the tallest tower.”
Tsul’rekshi knows the angel is captive in that basement.
Set the insane 30’ angel free then sit back and giggle?
Me thinks that the Hallowed Round isn’t going to be the only battleground that night (Obrimus Manor will be as well, but Villa Aurora looks set to be a hilariously awful powderkeg).
So Julien tried to take Tyranny’s bra off at a party? Is that the reference from the strap snaps? At least that brings some context. I’ll have to rewatch that after this is over to be sure.
It actually was an RP thing.
Now I just want to know about the crying.
Apparently tonight’s ep (c4e28) clocks in at over 5 hours long. I didn’t manage to have my chronic illness fatigue nap today, so let’s see how much of this I’m understanding by the end of this. >.<

The Snap Heard Around the Table
Man, there’s been a lot of talk about that bra strap snap Bolaire delivered to Tyranny in c4e27.
Meh blather beneath the cut.
Is Alogar not Hal’s son? I’m rewatching c4e1, The Fall of Thjazi Fang, and Thaisha/Aabria specifically describes Hal’s face as looking so much like “your brother’s, and like her son and our daughter’s.”
Was Alogar originally intended to have been Thjazi’s son and it was retconned, or does it still stand? Does Hal know if it’s still standing?
Hal strikes me as the kind of guy who would take in Thjazi’s child as his own and loves Thaisha so much that it would never be a question they’d be together, but was it a misspeaking, a retcon, or a plot reveal for another time?
While I definitely miss the Soldiers being together, I am LOVING Wick's cleverness being able to shine now that he's in a more familiar environment. He's not good at breaking rules, but he's really good at taking rules and turning them in his favor.
"You're not supposed to do hanky-panky with the constructs of gods."
"And yet they were given the equipment for it."
Yanessa, we're not buying your turkey-baster "wish" explanation you monster fucker bitch.
I was looking for an entirely different clip and happened to pause on the most amazing frame, so I had to share
