The thing about the all-wine-tastes-the-same-to-me phenomenon is that you can encounter it in literally any sphere of human experience. I can talk about high-budget versus low-budget stop motion animation and immediately be confronted with the fact that most folks reading the post genuinely cannot tell the difference between Ray Harryhausen and Robot Chicken.
